The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it. This is abhorrent, and the American people do not support this. Trump's recklessness is needlessly putting our brave service members in harm's way, destroying America's global standing, and making life even more unaffordable for the American people. We must all stand against this and oppose funding this illegal war of choice.

I’m watching Homeland for the first time ever which is randomly very timely for what’s happening in the Middle East but I just wanted to say that I would run through a brick wall for Saul Berenson.

So it was jarring to hear his answer today when he was asked why there was no evacuation plan for Americans in the Middle East BEFORE he launched an attack on Iran. "Well, because it happened all very quickly," said the @POTUS. Thousands of U.S. citizens are trapped in the Middle East today, even as the State Dept. urges Americans in 12 countries to "depart now."

.@POTUS asserts that Iran would "soon" have had missiles capable of hitting the U.S. (Intel placed that threat at least ten years off.) He said the war is aimed at thwarting their nuclear ambitions. This 8 mos after he assured the world that he had "obliterated" their nuclear program.
