CORRECTION PIAA BASKETBALL ATTENDANCE I have been told this morning by the PIAA that the attendance numbers on the stat sheets aren't correct. The PIAA stat people give an estimate because they don't get the official numbers from Hershey until after each session and they have to put a number in to close out the stats. HERE ARE THE FINAL OFFICIAL TOTALS Thursday: 3064 Friday: 7108 Saturday: 6791 Total: 16,963

Tuskegee University head basketball coach Benjy Taylor has filed a federal lawsuit after being handcuffed and escorted off the court during a nationally televised championship game in January. Taylor, alongside his legal team, formally announced the lawsuit Friday at a press conference in Atlanta. The suit seeks more than $1 million in damages and names two police officers and Morehouse College as defendants. The judgment call of the backboard slap results in a goaltending call if - the ball is touching the back board when the slap occurs - the ball is in the vertical cylinder when the slap occurs - the backboard slap is in any way deemed not a legitimate attempt to block the ball.
