I have Netflix, and I’m finding it hard to justify the monthly subscription cost. I am finding their content is boring and repetitive.

Then this motherfucker’s phone started ringing loud as fuck. I stopped counting on the 4th call.
Old people wonder why younger people don’t like them.
Exhibit A like a motherfucker.
Then I noticed they were chewing their food WAY too goddamn loud.
And chick was bitching about it being “cold in here”. (It wasn’t even close to anything resembling cold)
On the road this week. Went to McAlister’s for early dinner. There was 1 table of folks in the place.
I sat on the opposite side of the restaurant to look at emails and stuff while I ate.
Older couple came in, and out of their pick of prob 40 tables, they sat right beside me.
Guys my worst nightmare just happened and I’ve been summoned for jury duty and it’s the day before my birthday and all the way until July 4th. And I can’t see a way to get out of this! I had plans! And guess how much you get for each day? $10. And parking is $5 per hour….
A man once told me that I shouldn't pour myself a cup of coffee before the coffee has finished brewing. He claimed this would ruin the entire pot of coffee. I think he's just full of crap and wanted something to whine about. Do you think this is true or nah?
@MeyekOnRoute66 Man, honestly, Toyotas and Hondas aren’t much better. Sure, the engine is somewhat built better. But they largely use CVT’s, and the interiors are cheap dogshit. The infotainment systems suck too if you don’t get the top end trim.
It’s a give and take situation.
@cfishman My buddy (retired) bought Visa shares back in the day when it went public for around $3. He never touched it other than adding more shares. Over the decades of splits, dividends, etc this dude has over $1M in Visa shares.
I got a Discover Card almost as soon as they became available — nudged by my Dad. This would have been in 1985 or early 1986.
Discover was the first credit card to…
• Charge no annual fee
• Pay 1% back on all purchases
My dad loved stuff like this.

@AFMBlog The issue though is… Biden pushed through a different freon before he left office. If my 2018 unit dies, I’ll have to replace the whole unit. It can’t be fixed with currently manufactured parts.
@AFMBlog I don’t agree. I have a split system. Replaced one in 2018, and changed it from elec to gas. It was roughly $9K. I just replaced the other one last August, and it was also roughly $9K.
My neighbor is replacing their HVAC system today. Their house is slightly bigger than ours. Total cost for everything: $34,000!!!!! What in the hell? He said they have tripled in cost since COVID. What a crock of crap.
@peggyrockbottom Amen. I’m in outside sales and typically run about 1,000 miles a week on the highways, expressways and interstates in TN & KY. I can’t believe how many people don’t use CC. MFers just out there rawdoggin’ 200 miles at 70mph. Weird.
