I think the movie I’ve seen the most in my lifetime so far is The Breakfast Club. A winery is going to do an outdoor screening of it next month. Just booked a cheap hotel room and bought a VIP ticket where you get seating and popcorn. I’ve never seen it on a big screen. Excited!

I took this shot in RMNP on Saturday. It was hot. I was hungry, so I made myself a PB&J and sat beside my car near Upper Beaver Meadows waiting for a text from my hotel that my room was ready. I was up since 2AM. I just wanted a nap before heading back for the evening, and then I look down and see this beauty in the flowers and suddenly my spirits perked right back up. It's the little things.

@fugitiveink I know! There are sometimes dozens of dragon flies flitting around my back yard but there is no way to catch a good photo of it! I keep it in my head.

It doesn't show in a photo, but the meadow is literally buzzing with insect life. This is splendid from the point of view of our bees — perhaps less so for anyone encountering what they call a "clegg fly" — tiresome things that leave a red, raised, itchy bump wherever they sting

I went grunion hunting with my family when I was in junior high school and I fell asleep on the sand and missed everything. The next day we stopped at a Winchell’s in Long Beach and an old homeless woman came in and sat by us and lit a votive candle and she got kicked out.
