Indeed, the state pension Ponzi scheme needs closing down. The state pension should be completely abolished. Anyone who has contributed should get their contributions returned less any payments received (inflation adjusted) with a letter of apology explaining how they were defrauded. Those responsible for this crime such as senior civil servants & ministers should be prosecuted including having their assets seized.

Just think on day one of pensions being paid there was no pot of money to pay out so it had to be paid by the workers. You could argue a pot should have been built up but it hasn't so it continues as previously set up

At the air border, the carrier is responsible for returning you if immigration determine you are not admissible. At the land boarder or once admitted, there is no carrier so you end up in limbo and held until the process completes. Sucks but honestly they broke the law. It adds no veracity to the story about profit at all, I suspect that's just rumours. The story is just scare mongering.
