How about a FPGA community? This could be interesting to share knowledge / learning and help each other. I just created one, link below! x.com/i/communities/…

@trevgoes4th That's double the UK average wage, plus gold plated pension . A 29% contribution is mad, standard is 5%. Tell me you don't know the UK job market without telling me you don't know the UK job market.

The FFT is a very useful algorithm, but what happens when we want to look at more than just a snapshot in time. This is where the Waterfall view comes in. This week we are looking at what this is and how we can implement it in a FPGA. adiuvoengineering.com/post/microzed-…

Engineering is hard, and influencers are pointless. Like James I have large following for sharing my technical knowledge on FPGA design. But in no way am I influencer they show a product, I show how to create, design and implement. The engineering institutions are pretty poor in the UK at protecting and championing engineering. Most of the role models they push have rarely done any engineering but tick the right boxes to be politically correct.

@david__s @oldandrewuk @ATaylorFPGA Agree with your latter point. I’m an activist and influencer too, but at heart I’m an engineer. It’s what I’ve done professionally since my teens. I like it, I’m getting better at it, slowly, and I don’t want to do anything else. It’s highly satisfying. We need many more of us

UK polls perfectly show us why most Brits are stupid. 47% still want to vote for the same parties that fu*k them. 24% buy into Reform’s BS. 10% buy into the woke and eco nutjobs. So 81% of us are thick as sh*t. Reality is most voters are part of the problem.

KC-10 Driver ✈️ 👨‍✈️ B-737 Wrangler
Last night: kids & I took Mom to eat on top of the mountain. The only way to get there is via the Sandia Peak Tramway. The restaurant is “10-3”, for the altitude it’s at, 10,300’. Good ambience, with fantastic views & great staff. Fun fact: At altitude, your sense of taste is diminished. The dry air & pressure can lower your ability to taste sweet & salty by about 30% or more, in part because your sense of smell is also diminished. Sour, bitter & savory flavors are mostly unaffected, so you have to plan a menu carefully.
