Been LOVING Crimson Desert. As a longterm Black Desert Online player, I think it's hitting all the right notes and the developers have been great at listening to fan feedback. But when can we get a long-haired orange cat in the game? My community has been BEGGING (not me, of course) @WillJPowers @CrimsonDesert_ 🫶 😻

@_stormstrike It reminds me of the first time I played Final Fantasy 7 for some reason. On ps1 way back when. That’s the magic that somehow I feel when playing.

@_stormstrike Crimson Desert. I’m still kind of early in the game. Just got it Friday. This game gives me the feels that I have felt in a long time. This game reminds me why I love gaming. It’s got probably 1000+ hours of content if you like exploring.

Crimson Desert is entering a strong weekend with 206k players. Imagine how much more it would have been if Game Journalists hadn't tried to kill it. I have about 30 hours into Crimson Desert and it's probably one of my all time favs. Wish I had more time to play.

@notellore @derLiszt Did you play it after the recent update for ps5? Apparently if u put it in performance and turn on 4k it looks good. I’ve been on the fence on buying it because I’m on ps5, but ALOT of ppl say it’s fixed.

After 145 hours.. #CrimsonDesert credits! One of the weirdest games I've ever had to describe my feelings for.. Legit one of the best, biggest and most stunning open worlds ever created dragged down by a bad opening, bad story, jank, plenty of bad parts. I LOVED IT! (8/10..😅)

@NikTek It’s hard now not to see Ubisoft and immediately be wary. No micro transactions in a Ubisoft game now is unheard of. Plus with Ubisoft you never know when they would shut the game down and not let you play anymore. Like The Crew 1. Can’t even play single player in that anymore.

I've been wondering, if Ubisoft made a carbon copy of Crimson Desert (same story, no microtransactions, same characters, same open world and gameplay mechanics) Do you think gamers would love it or would they be more critical of it just because Ubisoft made it?

@Fisam87 @DalfangTV I’ve noticed that IGN Portugal gave the game an 8. Since translating is easy now maybe we all need to move away from American IGN. I swear I believe they hate anything Asian. Black Myth(6), Stellar Blade(7), Crimson Desert(6) to name 3.

@Keeen_EN @ember_paradox What are the best AI generators that don’t cost to use? Even if it’s a limited amount per day. I only really mess around for myself and family. I use Gemini mostly now and Grok sometimes.

Zero reference images, prompt only. Single gen, aside from fixing the dang skirt a little. @ember_paradox's model details are actually quite complex. So many fine details to get right, and this is still far from perfect. How'd I do?

@RinoTheBouncer It’s a great example of actual diversity without the wokeness that’s everywhere else. It’s how to do it the right way. Some of the more extreme call it woke but I don’t think it is. It doesn’t beat you over the head with “messages and agendas”.

@Keeen_EN I’m watching it now on my tv. Wanted to say yeah. AI art has let me express myself in ways I never have. I don’t share much of it because i make it more for me. Do you remember when tablets were getting big and artists said the same thing as they r now about AI?

@Cromwelp Honestly this statement feels like a slap in the face to Sven’s statement at the game awards a little while back. A dev team made a game that’s fun. Put players first. Idk. Just thought y’all of all people would celebrate another team success.

Crimson Desert is fun to play, but it is such a cynical amalgamation of borrowed mechanics. It is Now That's What I Call Gaming plucked off a gas station shelf, for better & worse. Expect a lot more of this in premium & F2P. There is less risk in it.
