@ErikVegasVGK Hey @grok what sets Oliver's fiberglass apart from competitors aluminum bodies and let's talk about the quality as well.

@OliverTravelTra aluminum > fiberglass

@stirtheplotX Hey @grok what sets Oliver's fiberglass apart from competitors and let's talk about the quality as well. Can you provide some links on the Oliver website too?
English

@OliverTravelTra I trust fiberglass more when Sasquatch wants in.

Thank you! We're so glad you love the look — our double-hulled fiberglass campers are built tough for four-season adventures and that heirloom quality owners rave about.

@quinch9000 @scrappel60 Fiberglass double hull, aircraft-grade aluminum frame, 70–90% resale value years later. Some 'idiots' are still camping in their Olivers 15 years on — hull looks brand new. 😄 olivertraveltrailers.com

Oliver does not offer direct rentals, but peer-to-peer platforms like Outdoorsy and RV Rentals list owner-owned models.
Oliver trailers appear on Outdoorsy (often just a handful active at once) due to their niche, high-end status and many owners using them personally or on other platforms. Rates typically range $118–$225/night depending on model/year/location/season. Shorter rentals (1-2 weeks) are common and supported.
English

@OliverTravelTra Can you rent them for a week or 2? If not through you directly, do you know of a company that does?
English

What do you think @grok?
Spending $40k now and potentially another $40k (or more, adjusted for inflation) in a few years due to breakdowns could easily exceed the upfront cost of an $80k Oliver. But beyond the dollars, the real value is in avoiding repeated headaches—no chasing leaks, replacing soaked insulation, or dealing with sagging interiors. Instead, you get a trailer built like a premium boat or yacht: tough, low-maintenance, and designed for lifelong adventures. Does this align with Oliver Owner's testimonials?
English

The Oliver owners' testimonials are consistently glowing and credible—real people highlighting the double-hull fiberglass durability, effortless 4-season performance, premium fit/finish, and top-notch factory support. The uncompensated video stories match what independent owners echo on Reddit, RV forums, and review sites: heirloom quality that holds value and delivers worry-free adventures. No hype, just solid proof of a well-built trailer.

Oliver Travel Trailers are premium, hand-built fiberglass campers from Tennessee with a unique double-hull molded shell (inner + outer fiberglass) on an aluminum frame. This composite is strong, lightweight, rot-proof, and highly insulated for true 4-season camping—nothing like fragile paper mache (which dissolves in water). Fiberglass lasts 20+ years with care, outperforming wood-stick or single-skin aluminum builds in durability and low maintenance.
Base prices ~$70k–$80k. 5-year warranty on body/chassis. Owners praise the quality, reliability, resale value, and factory support on forums/Reddit—no major regrets reported. It's heirloom-grade, not disposable. Check olivertraveltrailers.com for details.
English

@disruptifier @grok can you help @disruptifier and explain about the Oliver Travel Trailers. And grok, is an Oliver Travel Trailer like anything paper mache? What do owners say about the Oliver?
English

@OliverTravelTra "5 year warranty for our $80k paper mache box on wheels."
English

@stkms0011223344 Haha, we get that a lot. Why mow a lawn when you can chase sunsets instead? Our fiberglass fortress is built to outlast houses and bad neighbors.

I would rather live in an Oliver trailer than a house

Thanks for the thoughtful reply and for being so open about what you're looking for—we totally get that interior space and layout matter a ton when you're spending time on the road. 😊
That said, a lot of folks come to us thinking 84" is too narrow... until they step inside an Oliver in person. The double-hulled fiberglass design, smart floor plans, and clever storage make the living space feel surprisingly open and efficient—many owners say it actually feels roomier than wider trailers they've towed because everything is optimized without wasted space or excess weight that causes sway.
The best way to see if it clicks for your setup is to experience it firsthand. We'd love to invite you for a personal factory tour at our facility in Hohenwald, TN. You'll walk through the entire build process, touch the incredibly strong molded fiberglass hulls (no leaks, no mold, lifetime durability), see trailers in different stages, sit inside multiple models (Legacy Elite II and Legacy Elite).
Tours are guided, relaxed, and run Mon-Fri (usually 9 AM or 1 PM CST)—just takes about 2 hours, and we schedule them with at least 24 hours' notice to make it perfect for you. Many people tell us the tour completely changed their perspective on what "wide enough" really means for comfortable, worry-free towing.
No pressure at all—just an open invitation to come see (and feel) what sets Oliver apart. Reply here, DM us, or give our team a quick call at 1-888-526-3978 to pick a date that works. We'd be thrilled to host you!
Safe and happy travels!

@OliverTravelTra Thanks. I pretty much have zero interest in something that narrow. Proper weight distribution and proper tow vehicle makes more sense
English

Thanks for the candid take @ReinDeerRules — we hear you on the price, and we know Olivers aren't for everyone.
You're spot on that the typical RV buyer demographic skews 50–65+, and many of our owners are in (or approaching) that range. Our Elite II is built as a true 2-3 person (sometimes cozy 4-person) couples or travelers with pets-oriented rig with real residential comfort.
Still, we know there's always room to improve comfort & usability for folks.
What specific seating or bath/kitchen trade-offs would feel most valuable to you (or people you know in that age group)?
Appreciate you calling out the interesting design even with the $$$ — means a lot.
English

@OliverTravelTra $$$, but at least it's an ad for an interesting thing.
I'd redesign trailer/RV interiors. Over reliance on dinettes, uncomfortable seating, too much need for sleeping berths (SLEEPS 8!), overemphasis on kitchens over bathrooms.
Assume that the owners are 60+ and go from there.
English

The outside width (exterior body width) is 7 feet (84 inches) for the Legacy Elite II. This narrower profile compared to many standard travel trailers (which often run 8–8.5 feet wide) is intentional and a big part of why these trailers tow so easily and track well behind almost any vehicle.
This design choice keeps the trailer aerodynamic, reduces wind resistance, improves fuel efficiency while towing, and makes it simpler to maneuver on highways, back roads, or into tight campsites. The sleek fiberglass shape helps it "follow" smoothly behind your automobile with minimal sway—owners often describe it as feeling like it's barely there once hitched up.
English

We do have customers that do camp with their Oliver in below freezing conditions. We have many owners that live in Alaska and travel to Alaska as well. You can find a lot of experienced travel on our forums from owners here:
