Is #PFAS underfoot? Some carpet and rugs are made using PFAS chemicals. But as one of 11 product categories that will soon be impacted by Minnesota PFAS regulations, carpets and rugs in Minnesota stores will no longer be manufactured with forever chemicals starting in January.

When we think of forever chemicals, most of us don’t think about the couches we sit on each day. But many are being made with PFAS. Upholstered furniture like sofas, chairs, and even mattresses are part of the third category of items that soon must be made without PFAS in MN.

In 100 days, products in 11 categories – including cookware, cosmetics, and textile furnishings – must be made without PFAS in order to be sold in Minnesota. We heard from @NordicWare, @faribaultmill, and @SigmaBeauty about why they’re already making their products without PFAS!
