@OluCipher
I swear on all the 3,000 imaginary, man-made gods known to man that I believe in none of them…I write what I think, I don’t care what you choose to do…

@DGodlessHeathen I am not scared but terrified in the sense that I observe basic human survival and stay out of trouble, crime that will lead to loss of life… It's the fear that drives most people to religion…
English

The thought of not existing still terrifies you because you’re still deeply attached to existence itself. That’s understandable. We all begin by clinging to life the way a child clings to a favorite toy. Maturity isn’t learning to despise life…..it’s learning to appreciate it without demanding that it never end.
We’re incredibly lucky to witness reality at all. So observe it, learn from it and participate in it we must……but we shouldn’t become so attached to the experience that the possibility and fear of its end drives us to invent certainty where none at all exists!!!

As an atheist, I completely understand the pull of believing in an afterlife… The thought of simply not existing anymore is terrifying… I might change my mind when I’m old and suffering, but for now, I desperately want to keep living and experiencing the world for much longer than one human lifetime allows…
English

@UgoCannon I do not actually; it's why I mentioned old age, lol…
English

@OluCipher Trust me... You don't want to live forever.
Consciousness ends with the brain dies.

@OluCipher What we don't have is justice.
We have not come together to decide what is right and what is wrong.
Something that is wrong in society A, society B will say it's not wrong for them.
So where there is no EQUAL justice, there can be no real progress.

People are always quick to blame greed as Africa’s biggest problem…
But here’s a hypothesis worth testing: If greed were truly the root cause, why aren’t other greedy countries suffering the same level of dysfunction as many African nations?
Other parts of the world have greedy leaders, corrupt elites, and self-interested citizens too... Yet many of them still manage to build functioning systems, stable infrastructure, and growing economies… This suggests Africa’s challenges aren’t simply “greed”, they’re deeper structural, institutional, and historical issues that allow greed to destroy more than it builds... Greed exists everywhere, it's human’s trait… What differs is how societies constrain it through strong institutions, accountability, and the rule of law…
English

@AineRol9dq8 Yes, it's the major problem… It's why I do not entertain the greed excuse anymore!
English

@OluCipher Countries are built on strong justice systems. I think the problem of many African states is they have very weak justice systems

@OluCipher Till we realise that their is no escaping this
Face your fears and defeat then and they will be no more

Every damn day the timeline is flooded with women dragging men and men dragging women... For fuck’s sake, this is basic human nature... Stop lumping all men or all women together like idiots… Call out the actual bullshit behaviour instead of blindly defending your gender... Sound smart, not tribal and stupid…
English

That same money could have built or fixed several kilometers of roads, equipped multiple hospitals with proper facilities, or provided clean water and electricity to dozens of communities... Churches and mosques will never return this kind of infrastructure value... They collect tithes and offerings for decades, yet the country still has to budget for their buildings…

Both religions are built on the same shaky foundation which is faith, not evidence… You’re just arguing whose fairy tale has better marketing…

@OluCipher 🤦🏿♂️ brooo. I couldn't believe he just said that, deadass, and someone shouted "ride on"

No religion has truly been a friend to women, and this is a perfect example…
It still surprises me that the same women are the ones keeping these religions alive the most... How do you sit and listen to a man say pregnant women cause homosexuality and not walk out?

I truly wish I made this up. Nobody got up and left the church, they all sat there.

Everyone suddenly hates rough football and wants it all neat… But Pep ruined it with too many passes, and others complain the game has gone soft with players laughing before derbies… Lol…
What do you lot actually want?
This is a contact sport that runs on emotions... It’s allowed to be brutal... Most of the legends we praise today were straight-up dirty in their prime…
