Apparently sources are saying Drake received over 2 billion private equity after becoming a free agent. After he released 3 albums in one night Drake fulfilled his UMG obligations. See Drake has been having issues with his record label and Drake has sued them over defamation. So releasing 3 albums fulfilled his obligations with them. This is just lazy hate dressed up as analysis. You can dislike Drake, but calling it “Peter Pan music” makes no sense when half his catalogue is about ageing, paranoia, betrayal, family, legacy, industry politics, fame, and the cost of success.
Also, being unmarried at almost 40 is not a music critique. That’s just gossip. If marriage was the measure of maturity, half the entertainment industry would be disqualified.
The real reason Drake annoys people is simple: he makes success sound emotionally complicated instead of pretending money fixes everything. That is why his music still connects.
