i would like to formally go on record and say i was wrong about cyberpunk 2077. it took 5 separate playthrough attempts, and bashing my head against the wall but the stockholm syndrome finally kicked in this shit is peak gaming and i’m no longer a fuckin gonk

@TheSaekoSNOW I think so. That seat reclining may improve your flight by like 5-10% and could completely ruin the flight of the person behind you. Whenever someone reclines their seat in front me, I'm praying that plane crashes.

I think me playing on PC with keyboard and mouse is really what finally locked me in. I kept trying to play the game on a controller because I wanted a chill, relaxing experience but the game always felt sooo clunky. I think the combat is already not its’ strongest suit but I feel like I have way more control now and I’m finally able to be immersed. I finally connected with the world, characters and story because I physically feel more connected to the game now.

Two mobile live service games from huge developers announced their services are soon ending. This is just further proof of what a digital only future could look like and also begs the question of the future of the mobile gacha game. One day, the games WILL shut down. What happens to the hundreds/thousands you spent? Will content be made available for free? Will they provide offline installers to preserve these games and accounts? Big questions that need answers if this the future of gaming.

So I've been playing GTA 5 for the first time to prepare for GTA 6 and it has been quite the experience so far. Here are my quick thoughts so far

I don’t talk sports much on this account, but what is happening rn during this Jaylen Brown situation is just disgusting to see. I’m sorry man, it’s hard to not assume it’s blatant racism when a Finals MVP and a regular season MVP candidate that carried a Boston team to the second seed during a season where people thought they’d be a play-in team, is getting so disrespected. They are trying so hard to tear this man down that has done EVERYTHING that was asked of him by his team. His only controversies are him calling this past season his favorite, and him having pseudo-intellectual takes sometimes. I will take that every day over the numerous woman beaters in the league. The NBA celebrates Karl fuckin Malone for fucks sake.

It's obvious you've never been belittled or discounted due to your skin color/race/ethnicity and I genuinely hope you never have to experience it But for people who have, what is happening to Jaylen Brown is something a lot of us have faced in schools or in the workplace. Referring to Jaylen Brown as a disease for doing... what exactly? Being outspoken? JB is an extremely well studied, outspoken black man UNLIKE LeBron, CP3 or other black athletes. In things like the NBA, you have to be "one of the good ones" or face backlash like this such as other outspoken athletes (Ali, Allen Iverson, Kaepernick)

@rebirthredeem @OmegaProYT Bro that’s literally not the case like why are LeBron, CP3, and other prominent black players referred to as some of the smartest players in the league. Also the nba is profitable because of the product itself and story lines driven by players.

Let's say the PS6 is a digital only console (pretty much guaranteed now) and 20yrs after it's release you wanna get a game for the PS6 but they've shut down the store just like they did for the PS3/Vita. What are you going to do? You can't go to a gamestop, a pawn shop, a flea market, ebay or whatever. This is planned obsolescence in its' final form. PlayStation now has 100% control over how you buy and play a game. Your boy wanna sell you a game for cheap? Can't do that, gotta buy full price on PSN. Wanna give your boy a game to check out? too bad, he's gotta buy it for $70 on PSN. This is terrible for videogame preservation and consumer rights

The first game I ever fell in love with. I can pop this into an N64 30 years later and play the same game I put countless hours into as a kid. I'm deeply saddened that this may not be a reality for future gamers.
