I was an Asus fan for quite a while, bought almost entirely Asus MBs from the early Athlon days all the way up to Haswell/Z97. Then their quality started going to crap and their warranty coverage headed down as well. My Z97-WS had to be "repaired" five times, and was never fixed. By the time AM4 came out, I had sworn off Asus entirely. I refuse to buy their products at all now. I bought Gigabyte boards at first, but BIOS and stability problems led me to try out MSI. The X570 Unify was an absolutely fabulous, and lasted me through an 5800X and a 5800X3D. Then I got a Gigabyte X670 because it was inexpensive and part of a bundle with the 7800X3D, but that turned unstable after a year. I got the X870E Carbon at that point, and it has been absolutely perfect, except for the audio. I hope to keep it through getting a 10800X3D, or whatever it will be called, and replace it when AM6 comes out, IF the performance of AM6 holds up.
