Funny how whenever I say something with #AI hashtag, even really anti-AI, the ones reaching out to me (be it likes or comments) are AI bros. Sometimes they outright advertise their services in their replies.

Actually, it can be done. Local #AI models can run on a gaming laptop. Fast, unlimited use, free. The only problem is that they are very limited in size and can only perform most basic tasks. Maybe there is a way to use several small models efficiently, but that requires work

@MaxsSidePlace Satisfaction, or inspiration, exploration, brainstorming. But even with fine-tuned models, one can nearly never produce something beyond the "average" stuff most other people can produce with even base models.

@OmniSable Aww, she’s cute. Thanks for sharing her. We don’t use the same model, but you’ve likely used one of the component models mine is built from. Stylistically, AI-generated furs offer little beyond personal satisfaction, whether shared or kept private.

I produce #AIart on occasion. But I don't really post it outside my channel almost no one reads. Why? Not only to not gather hate, but also because thousands of people produce images that look almost the same. I would contribute nothing by posting it. And would be so ignored.

@SibeyVT With "actual" art, you're consuming it all with your own mind, convert it through the prism of your own human perception, and then, eventually, put your own experience and vision on your canvas of choice. With #AIart you do nothing of that. You just juggle pre-made templates.

I have a question for Anti AI artists? When you do to school and learn how to draw, paint, sculpt, and what not….are you not just copying work that has previously been created to learn how to draw or paint? And if you take that skill of drawing and then start selling your drawings after learning how to draw in someone else’s work and making money on it are you not being hypocritical towards AI for doing the exact same thing? I’m genuinely curious what artists have to say on this, no animosity here, I’d really like to get some input and some insight into why artists think AI steals when it was given data that was purchased from sites like Deviant Art over an artist learning from a book or a teacher for whom they have bought or sold their knowledge for you to learn as well. I’d love to debate this, but any trash talking and attack is not going to be accepted, please be respectful and don’t let emotions take over.
