In Luo Nyanza, the political mood is very clear but also very telling. William Ruto is struggling to win the hearts of the people. His support is said to be below 5%. They are left to share the small percentage that remains. In a region known for strong political loyalty, gaining attention is not easy. Right now, Luo Nyanza is sending a clear message. Trust is not given freely. It is earned. And for some leaders, the work is far from over.

When people like Ademba see my tweets, they see them as retrogresive. Tribal and has no place in the current Kenya. People like Ademba forget that I am practical. I do not live in a bubble. I know Kenya is tribal and they will vote tribal. Today, Ademba has been reminded that just because they fight Ruto together, he is not one of them. He is a Luo and, therefore, a second-class citizen. I tell Luos here every day that this bad manners of twerking for Kikuyus for validation will only serve to hurt them more.
