@ThrillaRilla369 Kind of sounds like price gouging since you don’t have a choice. That’s why pushing for price transparency should be the highest priority to try and combat hospitals to be forced to compete instead of go to who is closest and find out price after.

Hospitals can charge up to $700 for a bag of saline, which only costs them an average of $2.00 per bag. Someone explain to me how this is NOT a form of legalized fraud? Please make it make sense.

@peterrhague Give them a ticket is the reasonable response. Disorderly conduct I think fits. Judge should force them into community service and maybe when their parents are facing these courts they will stop it.

How do you punish this behaviour? Its reckless and antisocial, but prison would obviously be excessive. Our other options - community service, fines etc. - he would probably laugh off and ignore. Maybe we need to bring back the stocks...
