Broke down some Spain PnR for the group & made tons of individual connections. Certainly made an impact & inspired these kids to lock in as the summer months are coming up.

Greatly appreciate @_edailey3 for coming to our practice last night. 10 mins in, went to grab his shoes & hopped in the drills with the kids. Brought a great energy to the gym & gave plenty of insight.

🇻🇺 7-2 big Anton Bonke testing out the NBA Draft is really intriguing. I thought he'd be a "transfer up" candidate with the NBA a bit further down the line, but I definitely think he's a league-caliber prospect. Bonke is big and decently mobile with good hands, encouraging touch, and a developmental history I'm buying. Broke out at Charlotte after transferring in from Providence. Didn't really play for the Friars but was recruited very quickly after only one semester of juco ball at Eastern Arizona. BYU was interested, too. Only really started hooping at 16. Competed internationally as a ROWER for Vanuatu beforehand while being trained by a world-class Olympian.

Tre Carroll is a 6'7 Freshman Forward for Florida Atlantic. The Owls have started the year 8-1, they have a really deep roster so minutes for Carroll have been few & far between. Definitely a guy I'm going to keep an eye out for the next year or two.

my tl;dr case for Morez Johnson Jr. (long form writing is in the replies) - compensates for a lack of positional height with a massive frame and a long wingspan - two seasons of consistently strong defensive impact from the center position - defensive metrics (blocks, defensive rebounding) shoot up significantly when he's at the C - tremendous all-around active defender with great hands, solid lateral movement and motor - weaponizes his 250 lb frame to be one of the best interior scorers, even without a ton of vertical pop - increasingly projectable touch
