Putting an asset onchain is just packaging. Making its entire lifecycle continuous, programmable and globally accessible is tokenization.

Every bull market has a narrative. Every lasting market has infrastructure. RWAs are starting to look like the second one.

Tokenization is still in its newspaper-on-a-website phase. The market has reached $321B, but 77.6% of tokenized assets are still wrappers around traditional infrastructure. The next breakthrough will not be putting more assets onchain. It will be building products that could not exist offchain.

7/ Getting an asset onchain was always the easy part. The real race is making ownership, cashflows, and compliance machine-readable enough to plug straight into these settlement rails. That's who wins real estate tokenization, not whoever mints the most tokens.

Last week showed where RWA settlement is actually heading. Banks, custodians, and regulators all moved on the same question at once: what's going to carry these assets at scale. The plumbing is getting built in public now. 🧵
