In August 2024, the @OneFreePress celebrated my release from Russian detention after my cases topped the May 2024 list of “10 Most Urgent” press freedom cases. This year Reza Valizadeh, an Iranian-American journalist is at the top. He returned to Iran to care for his parents and was arrested. Two of @RFERL colleagues from the 2025 list were released!
