It will not be overturned. I doubt if President @WilliamsRuto is that sloppy. Overturning that impeachment would be very costly for the opposition because @rigathi Gachagua would automatically become a presidential candidate. H.E. Rigathi Gachagua’s biggest issue was his continuous tribal utterances that PROMOTED NATIONAL DISUNITY, something he DIDN'T STOP even AFTER the IMPEACHMENT. OVERTURNING the impeachment would be tantamount to CONSTITUTIONALIZING TRIBALISM, a PRECEDENCE that would be very dangerous for an already highly corrupt country.

There was a time when peripheral parties like @TheWiperParty used to beg @TheODMparty for zoning, because ODM was the strongest party and wasn’t worried about competition. Now @TheODMparty is the one begging @UDAKenya for zoning, even in areas like Nyanza, which are presumed to be ODM strongholds. A strong party does not demand zoning unless ODM is weak.

The late Johana Ngeno’s mother at Dikirr Police Station to seek the release of her grandson, Peter Rotich, who was arrested after Ngeno’s widow Nayianoi Ntutu, reported him for alleged trespass at her Mogondo home. Weeks before the incident, the widow had sent Rotich a text message warning him not to step into her compound after Rotich declined pressure from UDA politicians on supporting the UDA candidate in Emurua Dikirr by-election. Rotich was arrested for escorting artists who visited Ngeno’s grave last Sunday following a commemoration event in Bomet, as there was no senior family member present to receive them.
