Kaspersky üst yönetimin Iphone'larına uzaktan malware yüklemişler. Kullanıcının hiç bir şekilde etkileşimini gerektirmeyen bu saldırıda görünmez bir iMessage mesajı eklenti ile geliyor. Ardından saldırganlar mikrofon erişimi elde ediyor, mesajlaşma uygulamalarının eriştiği resimler, lokasyon bilgisi uzak sunuculara yüklenmeye başlıyor. Saldırıyı üst yönetimin telefonlarının ürettiği network trafiği üzerinden fark etmişler. Zararlı yazılım telefondan silinse bile tekrar uzaktan otomatik olarak kuruluyor. Kaspersky, saldırının gerçekleşmesinde en önemli faktörün IOS cihazlarının kara kutular olması ve zararlı yazılımların fark edilmeden yıllarca telefonlarda barınabilmesi olduğunu belirtiyor.
