@renoomokri Those olodo uprising streamers don’t even know they’re a voice, they keep being an echo that de-market and devalue our national pride and interest
They just spew out rubbish. God save them with freedom of speech sha
Please fact-check me: Almost 70% of Nigerians who apply for a United Kingdom visa are approved. Almost 60% of Nigerians applying for an American visa are accepted. Slightly over 50% of Nigerians who apply for Canadian visas are granted visas.
In addition, Nigerian citizens have visa-free access to at least 44 countries (actually more).
Also, Nigeria's passport rose to 89th out of 199 countries on the Henley Passport Index, up from 94 in 2025 and 98 in 2022. What this means is that the Nigerian passport is STRONGER than more than half of all the passports on Earth.
So, in conclusion, we have to be circumspect about our choice of words and not confuse personal experiences with national situations.
Nigerians are not trapped in Nigeria, nor is Nigeria scorned by the rest of the world. Time Out magazine of London listed Lagos as the 19th-best place to live on Earth, and Detty December became the single biggest tourist event in Africa, drawing 1.2 million visitors to Lagos annually.
Also, Foreign Direct Investment inflows into Nigeria hit an 11-year high in 2025, according to the World Investment Report 2026, released on Tuesday, July 2, 2026, by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Per UNCTAD, FDI into Nigeria increased by 148.4% to $4 billion in 2025, from $1.61 billion in 2024.
If an individual is denied a visa, it is usually due to their specific circumstances and is not a reflection of, or a judgment on, their country of origin.
Nigeria has given us so much. Many of us have risen from humble circumstances to achieve fame and fortune because of the Nigerian nation and its people. Let us therefore be prudent and not de-market the nation that has given us so much. Nigeria is not finished. Nigeria is blessed!

@gemininiiii@Raschid_bwhizzy That particular comment really annoyed me! Staged??? A teacher was beheaded and everyone was in a state of sadness for days. They even started posting his pictures and his dismembered head to taunt people but it’s staged now, wow!
Peter Obi was detained at a London airport over irregularities with his travel documents. After he was released, he returned to Nigeria without claiming the UK government was after his life.
But when his vehicle was locked after being parked in an unauthorized area at a Nigerian airport, it suddenly became proof that the Nigerian government is after him.
So here’s the question: if your detention in London wasn’t evidence that the UK government wanted to harm you, why should a parking enforcement incident in Nigeria be evidence that the Nigerian government is after your life?
According to eyewitness reports, a woman was seen behaving unusually in the Orile area of Lagos.
Anyone who recognizes her or knows her family urged to contact them so she can be safely reunite with her loved ones 🥺

Some people are questioning why Abike Dabiri-Erewa has not celebrated these boys. The simple answer is: she doesn’t need to.
As Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, her role is to represent Nigeria and serve the interests of all Nigerians.
The person who took the boys abroad has made it clear through both words and actions, that they are South East representatives, when the credit, platform, and spotlight are deliberately taken elsewhere, it speaks volumes.
@abikedabiri kindly respect their opinions- don’t stress - focus on Nigerians. Amen.
@NigeriaStories I do not know when our public servant will stop celebrating Toto with public office money Nigerian's who do us this how do we find ourself here
@renoomokri Fuel is now around ₦1,125, and cooking gas is about ₦1,100.
Obidients who were once loud are suddenly quiet. As prices continue to drop, perhaps they'll remain silent.
Petrol and cooking gas prices have decreased this week and are set for further reductions next week. Am I lying? Of course not! You can fact-check me. You know it is true. But you did not praise President Tinubu. Yet, if the reverse happens and they increase, you will be the first to criticise the President.
Also, the International Institute for Management Development World Competitiveness Ranking 2026 listed Nigeria as the best-performing economy in Africa bar none. Again, you did not celebrate President Tinubu. But God forbid that the IMD ranked us as the worst-performing economy in Africa, you would have broken the Internet.
Look, many good things are happening in Nigeria under His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The challenge is that you have confirmation bias against Nigeria and prefer to seek out negative information about your country.
That is why you, who are either in school or have a brother, sister, or cousin attending a university, fail to give credit to President Tinubu for providing Nigeria with a strike-free academic calendar for three years for the first time.
While you were mocking the First Lady's Akara economy, she has quietly empowered tens of thousands of women to fry Akara, roast corn, and process garri. She is a visionary who knows that it is better to be busy doing something small than to be jobless and talking about something big.
An Iya Alakara is better than an Iya Gbeborun!
Nigeria is making astronomical progress. Take off your glasses of negativity so you can see it.

We can all feign shock when Peter Obi claims to prefer a brutal, wicked tyrant from the past over the current President just to score political points.
But beyond the posturing, it's clear he means it. Having benefited from the Abacha era, this is simply his modus operandi.
History repeats itself; much like when Ojukwu reportedly called for Chief M.K.O. Abiola to be hanged, these sentiments aren't new.
The Yoruba people must realize how many Igbo politicians truly feel about them. Notice how no Igbo politician has come forward to condemn Peter Obi since his statement?
If the roles were reversed, Yoruba leaders would be tripping over themselves to see whose condemnation could be heard the loudest."
@renoomokri You should bury your head in shame, you have no right to judge anyone based on your character, you have no shame at all but do we blame you? The answer is no! We blame the rotten system that still makes you relevant.
@OneSiano@renoomokri Obi is a fool ...na only Ur Generations wey him pass.
Hope U can defend Ur miserable father like defending the empty head Obi??😀😂
Bro Peter Obituary too Mumu....na follow come mumu obi get 😀😂
Dear Peter Obi,
In the past three years, you have praised many countries and negatively compared them to Nigeria, including:
The United States
Argentina
Egypt, and
Bangladesh
Then you even started dressing like an Indonesian after your visit to Indonesia.
Are you aware that in all these countries, petrol (gasoline) prices have also gone up?
Does that mean that these countries also 'failed to plan’?
Please fact-check me: Gasoline prices have risen by 21% in the U.S. and by 28.36% in Canada.
Both Canada and the United States produce more oil and gas than Nigeria. Yet, they are facing the same price rises as we are.
You also praised Tanzania. Well, I am currently in Tanzania, and just last week, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, petrol prices went up by more than 10% in response to the Iran War.
Remember that in August 2025, you counselled Nigeria to copy Argentina's economic reforms under President Javier Milei.
Today, Argentina's economy has collapsed. Their inflation rate has increased from 32.4% to 33.1%, and the Argentine peso is among the world's worst-performing currencies, amid massive devaluation.
Meanwhile, The Economist Magazine reported last month that Nigeria's "golden years" are likely to return due to President Tinubu's reforms. The IMF listed Nigeria as the sixth-largest contributor to global GDP growth in 2025, a fact celebrated by Elon Musk, the world's richest man. And the World Bank has said they now cite Nigeria as a perfect example of reforms that work.
Imagine where Nigeria would be if we had followed your advice and emulated Argentina.
Peter, I know you are desperate to become President, but this is not how to go about it.
Take a chill pill and chillax!

This is what President Tinubu has done to reduce the impact of the Iran War on you and your family.
Very few countries were as prepared for the shocks to the world economy occasioned by the Iran War as Nigeria. Unfortunately, opposition politicians and activists are often too blind to the truth. Consider, for example, the CNG vehicle initiative. Compressed Natural Gas is less affected by the crisis than Premium Motor Spirit in Nigeria because Nigeria has much more LNG than crude oil, and our gas reserves and production are not as tied up in future contracts as are our crude production.
You have to give it to President Tinubu. He was visionary enough that, just before petrol prices rose to ₦1,400, he ordered the immediate nationwide deployment of 100,000 CNG conversion kits on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
This is part of ongoing efforts to increase CNG penetration in Nigeria to reduce reliance on Premium Motor Spirit, which is more expensive and volatile.
And it does not stop there. The President directed the Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas (Pi-CNG) to immediately begin additional construction of CNG refuelling stations, with 12 new mega stations commissioned and 75 more under construction along major interstate routes, especially the vital Lokoja-Abuja-Kaduna-Kano route, which is vital to the supply of food from the North to the South, as well as around Maiduguri. The progress achieved in such a short period of time is a testament to the Nigerian can-do spirit.
And in anticipation of the crisis, which had resulted in sabre-rattling amongst the belligerents for months before the actual conflict began, President Tinubu had ordered the disbursement of N573 billion to the 36 states to prepare for the impact on the world economy.
Additionally, to make Nigeria's economy more resilient and less vulnerable to the vicissitudes of the global economy, President Tinubu signed Executive Order No. 9 on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, making compulsory the direct remittance of all oil and gas proceeds to the Federation Account Allocation Committee without any deductions.
The immediate consequence of the Executive Order was an instant increase in allocations to all states and local governments in Nigeria by at least 5%. Likely more.
The technical details of this order are that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is projected to remit an additional ₦906 billion annually to the Federation Account, while the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission is expected to remit upwards of ₦8 trillion to the same pool.
These monies are going DIRECTLY to your states and local governments. As of today, every Nigerian state is receiving at least double what it used to get before the Tinubu administration came into being.
On the macroeconomic side, the Central Bank of Nigeria has injected liquidity into the foreign exchange market to stabilise the Naira amid global pressures, which is why, instead of seeing the Naira plummet during this crisis, as has been happening to other currencies globally, the Nigerian currency has rather stabilised and then appreciated against the Dollar, appreciating to ₦1,345 to the Dollar on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
This means that Nigeria and Nigerians will see their purchasing power rise slightly to match the likely increase in inflation resulting from the Middle East crisis.
So, know that you have a President who, as a Cum Laude (First Class) accounting graduate of Chicago State University, understands the global economy and how interlinked it is. He has taken steps to cushion the impact of the conflict on you and your loved ones, and now your duty as a citizen is to hold your Governors accountable and ensure that the intervention funds they received are utilised for the purposes for which they were disbursed.

@renoomokri One major thing i don't like about Peter Obi is that he would know the truth but would still lie to mislead people to believe that we are in a worse situation just because of his selfish aspirations. This isn't the way to get there Mr Peter Obi. Enough said.
@renoomokri Peter obi is a born fool....there's nothing in that man's head .
