After a few months of quietly building, it is time for our team of volunteers to take a few weeks off. Happy Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, and New Year to everyone and we'll see you all in 2026 with our 1st app release and a new website.

Tomorrow is a big day for us. We find out if a government org is going to refer 62,000 members to our app. This follows a partner at one of the Big Four accounting firms showing interest, along with an English Championship football club. Wish us luck.

We still have some improvements to make to some pages sitting at 94, and even this 100 Lighthouse score doesn't mean we are perfect, but I am so proud of my team recognising and responding to the need to make One Sky accessible. Well, we are off to the @BlueEarthSummit next month where we intend (app is 65-70% built) to showcase @OneSkyCo Our team of volunteers have come so far with no grants or investment, and I do wonder how much can achieve with the right investment? What I do know is that EVERYONE who learns (albeit from me) what we are building loves it and loves how we will: Plant millions of trees Remove billions of plastic bottles' worth of ocean plastic Support local charities, clubs, communities and creators Enable users to have their sustainable behaviours tracked and rewarded, as individuals and/or in teams, and Provide orgs and brands with ESG impact and tools Without costing users or orgs a penny. Been needing (or telling myself I need) a new watch. I wanted it to align with what I'm building @OneSkyCo while also not breaking the bank. Enter @vintedUK and @triwaworld watches. Made from ocean plastic and heavily discounted from its RRP, I had to "Buy Now" as soon as I saw this Time for the Ocean watch. Took a chance on the brand, but glad I did. Excellent build quality, great design, and very comfortable. More and more, I'm finding myself checking for 2nd hand deals, not only to save money, but to reduce waste. Interesting comments from people swearing to eat MORE meat. Choosing to consume LESS meat leads to reduced risk of heart disease and cancer, reduces CO2 emissions, and reduced land and water use. And with our app, you'll earn points when you reduce how much meat you eat.

This is a great move and it is after great work by the @mcsuk , @LessWasteLaura and others that we are seeing a ban on single use vapes from today. It's one less item (once all the stockpiled vapes are finished) polluting our planet and it is another step in the right direction.
