@venueml @JorgeCastilloPr @grok It’s funny how confident you are insulting the guy, but he’s actually right. That app makes no sense the blackout is just triggered by the phone's tilt(look at the debug text). If someone looks at the screen from the side, it won't even work.

That’s not true. If a YouTube Premium user watches your videos, you earn a small portion of their subscription fee. As a YouTuber, this amount is divided among all the videos that user watches. In fact, YouTube Premium views usually pay more on average than regular ad-supported views you can see this reflected in your YouTube Analytics.

What’s extra weird is if viewers have premium YouTube, our viewing of the video provides basically nothing to the creator. The creator is incentivized to make content with the largest reach, safe and interesting for all audiences, especially those out in the general web recruiting YouTube views from those who don’t already religiously use YT.

So basically, companies pay Youtube to show ads and we pay Youtube to not show ads

@YellowAfterlife I struggled with getting the position of the player on the slope could you elaborate how you would do it ? My approach was not that clean.

@OneStreamRpg Is that in terms of rendering, position calculation, or something else? For render, I quite like faking isometry with 3d, and for getting current Z you can do a calculation based on where the character is relative to the slope bounds
