Few years ago, I dropped one of my early videos in a WhatsApp group for engagement support. Out of nowhere, one guy started criticizing the video heavily. Before I could even reply, another person in the group defended me and asked him why he was hating so hard 😂 Funny thing is, months later, I came across that same guy’s content page. I watched his videos and realized something: his content wasn’t even close to the level I was creating at the beginning of my journey. That moment taught me something important: A lot of people secretly get frustrated watching others pursue the things they wish they had the courage, discipline, or consistency to pursue themselves. And instead of learning from it, supporting it, or collaborating with it… they try to tear it down. But hate has never built greatness. If someone is doing something you admire, learn from them. Support them. Improve yourself through the inspiration instead of fighting it. Recently, I checked that same guy’s page again. Guess who stopped creating videos? The same guy. Guess who never improved? The same guy. The content he was making years ago was still the exact same level until he eventually quit. Meanwhile, I kept growing. That’s the danger of jealousy and negativity when you spend too much time attacking other people’s growth, you slowly abandon your own. I hope people learn from this.
