I’m proud to share a new report from the US Water Alliance: The Path to Universally Affordable Water Access: Guiding Principles for the Water Sector, which outlines solutions and guiding principles for a new approach to water affordability.

Everyone, regardless of income, should have safe, reliable access to our most essential resource—water. Shutoffs for low-income households when they cannot pay water bills is a drastic and unnecessary response to poverty. And alternatives to such measures are within our reach!
