🔬 Group meeting! Last week, Pol Torné presented on the identification of #TB associated metabolic signature in urine using proton NMR metabolomics, aiming for translation to low-field systems! In collaboration with @BiosferTeslab @GTRecerca

‼️Last week took place the kick-off meeting of the #TBSpectrum project, led by @irelatorre & funded by @MSCActions Secondments have already started & Consortium members are planing the initiation of the clinical study! @GTRecerca

📢 New paper is out! We recently published an opinion article in @FrontMicrobiol on the impact of #micronanoplastcis on pathogenic microorganisms. Here we discuss the main findings up to now, and pinpoint the most urgent gaps to address. shorturl.at/BLC4c @GTRecerca

We are happy to announce a new publication by our group. In this work we assessed the performance of the second-generation Fujifilm SILVAMP TB LAM for #TB diagnosis from urine samples. @GTRecerca @ZankliC @StopTB

We recently attended the biggest conference on #TB and lung health: @UnionConference in Copenhagen! 🇩🇰 Our team has presented a total of 8 engaging #TB related e-posters at the #TBscience section of the #WCLH2025 @GTRecerca

📢🫁 We are very happy to announce that our project “New insights into immunity and host-pathogen interactions in the tuberculosis spectrum (TB-SPECTRUM)”, led by our PI @irelatorre , has been granted and received funding from @la_marato @GTRecerca

📚🔬We also hosted a Training School on human PBMC isolation & Elispot methodologies for #TB immune characterization. Participants were lab staff from clinical partner sites, who are involved in sample processing throughout the clinical study.

Last month took place a meeting organized by @ADVANCE_TB @COSTprogramme at @GTRecerca 🫁🧫 The meeting focused on the recently granted #TBSpectrum project, led by @irelatorre & funded by @MSCActions

TB-Spectrum aims at better understanding the different stages of #tuberculosis disease, from #clinical & #immunological & #microbiological characterization to #InVivo studies. The project promotes short-term international exchanges between academia, industry & hospitals.
