Reassuring to know, as someone who had their life transformed by Long Covid, that a likely reason I've had no meaningful care might be that my doctors actually just get together at lunch to complain about being forced to interact with people who have health complaints. Doctors.

There's some comparable advice I once heard from a retired fire officer. I'm -not- condoning this action, which is theoretically illegal. I'm just passing it on as a thing I've been told by someone who worked in emergency response, in a casual conversation. Text in image.

This is not a solution I should ever have to recommend, & it might only be an option in a city, but in a situation where you think you might be waiting a long time for an ambulance, sometimes it might be advisable to uber to the nearest a&e -this is what I did & it saved my life

Maybe the teenagers are just meant to get groomed by local strangers in exchange for access to public spaces without their parents. Maybe the purpose of this system is also what it does. Maybe some authorities like it when that happens. Just thinking out loud and stuff, y'know.

@OMGBeardd @EE Yeah man I know, I'm still waiting for them to do something with my open fault case and it's been a week of this so I'm just going to use their replies section as a handy public error log until it's done. Don't waste much time to just tweet stuff.

Still waiting for @EE to do anything my internet because the fault case reports having sent an engineer to my area, but they didn't come to my home, and according to their own system nobody has checked the area in 5 years, so I have no idea what that's about.

They aren't looking to save money and finding disabled people to bear the brunt, they're looking for an excuse to increase the suffering of and eliminate disabled people and using saving money as the excuse.

Instead of subsidised food and alcohol in the House of Commons, I think that only vouchers should be given out. We'll call them dinner tickets - and abolish the alcohol.
That's how they want to treat disabled people, and that's how we should treat ableist politicians.

@EE Thanks, I left a feedback form asking how they sleep at night doing this to people, next I'm going to find a new provider who'll at least take less money from me while doing this. If these accounts are still humans in 2026, then I'm genuinely sorry your bosses are like this.

@EE are scam merchants who charge extortionate amounts for internet that can't stay up, at speeds I had 20 years ago. The bot's gonna reply with 'we understand [expected thing] is important', but they're saying that to 50 people a day in replies, so they can't understand it much.

@EE Home broadband. Never seen speeds over 3mb/s even through ethernet, and now had a week of random disconnects every hour. The service check on the website hardly ever loads but when it does it reports no problem. Done the classic troubleshoots to death. How does this cost so much?
