The boundary between idealism and realism is indeed thin and delicate. Pure idealism without realism often becomes naive or impractical. Pure realism without idealism can turn cynical or uninspiring. The wisest approaches usually live right on that line, holding high ideals while staying grounded in what’s actually possible. Many great thinkers and leaders, like Aristotle to modern pragmatists have wrestled with exactly this balance. GRV BE WISE #Obident # NEW NIGERIA #

This wasn’t campaign. It wasn’t a political rally. He wasn’t sharing rice. He was there on a funeral visit, but see the crowd. When you’re loved, you’re loved, bro. 🥹❤️

This is one of the reasons I shut down the 2 mini gas plants I had in Ife and relocated out of the country. One of it cost at least 4million to open as at 2021, btw. I started when 1ton was 300k and sold at 350. But in less than 2 years, it hit 700k and I still couldn’t sell past 750 just so customers could still afford to buy. That meant running capital had more than doubled but profit was still the same. That’s not a profitable business except you’re doing extremely great numbers at sales. Imagine people still in the business today, they will buy for at least 1400 at the depot and can’t sell more than 1500. Some, like me, will even sell at 450 just to beat competition and do some quick sales… but, that only means your running capital has done 5x in about 5 years but your profit over each tonne still remains the same. Nigeria is such a shitty country!!!

Kwankwaso is playing a long term politics with Obi. Dickson is building his party for 2031 hoping to make it to the ballot as a VP candidate. Only one man isn't ready to play the long game. He is even willing to use one year as President at the detriment of his region - Obi. Smh

Why is Governor Soludo allocating significant Anambra State funds to construct a new airport in Ndi Ikelionwu while the existing airport at Umueri remains underfunded? In a state with a truly independent House of Assembly that understands its oversight role, this situation might have warranted impeachment proceedings by now. What is the actual economic benefit of the proposed Ndikelionwu Airport to Anambra State?

Saludo is seriously building another Airport in Anambra?😳

I just finished an interview with Brad from Across Nigeria… and honestly, I’m sitting here stunned. Today, he buried 14 Christians in a mass grave. Two were infants. One was a 4-year-old child. And this isn’t some recycled internet story or political talking point. Brad was literally there today helping bury them. While on the way to investigate one attack, another Christian community was attacked. He said the violence is happening so fast they can barely keep up anymore. What shocked me even more is this: Brad shared that 72% of all Christians killed worldwide last year were killed in this region of Nigeria. 72%. And hardly anybody is talking about it. The mainstream media should be all over this. Instead, most people scrolling social media today have no idea our brothers and sisters in Christ are being slaughtered while churches are being forced underground. Guys… this matters. Please watch this interview. Please pray for these families. And PLEASE share this everywhere you can. At this point, WE are the media. WE are how people find out. WE are the distribution network. If enough ordinary people start sharing the truth, eventually the world will have to pay attention. Watch the full conversation and help us get this story out.

....Former Comrade, @COshiomhole, will not see these killings in the Plateau to abuse anyone over. If this were to involve sharing of loot in @OfficialAPCNg or covering up looting, he will get suddenly excited about #Nigeria's sovereign erectile dysfunction.
Amnesty International Nigeria@AmnestyNigeria

Amnesty International strongly condemns the killing of 12 people in a horrific midnight attack on Ngbra-Zongo village of Bassa LGA in Plateau State. Ten people are now receiving treatment for gunshot wounds. The victims include pregnant women and children. Entire families were locked up in rooms of their homes and slaughtered one by one. The utter failure of President Bola Tinubu’s government to address widespread insecurity is costing lives. While the government of Tinubu is claiming to be tackling the endemic security crisis, the death toll tells a different story. Plateau state is increasingly becoming unsafe, with attacks on both rural and urban communities forcing people to be living in constant fear of the next attack. Many communities are dotted with mass graves of people killed by gunmen on rampage. The Nigerian authorities have failed the people of Plateau State again and again. Frequent attacks by gunmen have deprived thousands of people of their rights to life, physical integrity, liberty, freedom of movement and access to livelihoods. President Bola Tinubu’s government must do more to end these attacks and ensure that the suspected perpetrators are brought to justice. Victims and survivors must be given adequate reparation.
