Too many ppl in #crypto that know enough to convince themselves they know it all. My suggestion to everyone is keep learning always. Be wary of where your info comes from. Some influencers are only 1/2 right in what they share with you. Get smart enough to know what the 1/2 is.

you need to be very careful about accounts whose main business is to monetise their following. their goal is to drive clicks and impressions, not tell you the truth. never forget this cardinal rule of social media.

Genesis is the very beginning and talks primarily about creation. So it seems as if you have taken a passage or two that you have seen elsewhere on its own, without full context.. you need to understand a few things (if you actually intend to do your own non-biased investigation) so that you can make your own discernments. 1) there are accounts in the Bible that are descriptive, that doesn’t mean they are prescriptive. Meaning just because the story is told doesn’t mean the storyteller is telling you to go out and do it. 2) the Old Testament is much different from the New Testament. Rules such as those that govern slavery in the Old Testament were meant for times where slavery was part of everyday life (a social norm) and they wanted to make it safer/fairer. Think of it this way.. imagine a future where there are no guns anymore and it’s no longer socially acceptable and infact it’s the opposite, it’s abhorrent to the future society that weapons were allowed at all. They would look back and say hey sure these people on the left restricted the ammo capacity, but how terrible were they for not just putting an end to guns in whole, not realizing it is an unrealistic task to accomplish due to current societal norms. Slavery and some of these other issues were much like that. They tried to be as progressive as they could for the times.. these were brutal days.. The New Testament does not carry over all of these mosaic laws 3) “mass murder” is a stretch, but it’s fair to examine the events for sure. When an offensive was launched against the amalekites it’s because they were attacking the Israelites as they themselves fled slavery in Egypt. The amalekites targeted weak stragglers (women, children, elderly). They later continued raids on the Israelites. This action was viewed as defensive. Similar stories exist. 4) misogyny? Genesis 1:27 states that both male and female are created in God’s image with equal value. Jesus consistently treated women with respect and dignity far beyond cultural norms—teaching them publicly (Mary at His feet, John 4 with the Samaritan woman), defending them (the adulterous woman whom society wanted to stone to death, John 8), and appearing first to them after the resurrection. The New Testament declares spiritual equality (“There is neither male nor female… for you are all one in Christ Jesus,” Galatians 3:28) and praises capable women in leadership and service (Deborah as judge and prophet, Proverbs 31’s industrious wife, Priscilla as theologian and church planter). Etc, there is much more support there. Now to summarize for you, nothing in the new testament (christ age) prescribes murder (of any kind) or anything that you mentioned. In fact it is one of the commandments that one shall not murder. Rape is also explicitly condemned, it’s considered sexual immorality. Not allowed. I also find it ironic you say this while proclaiming association to ANTIFA, for two reasons. 1) they have been widely documented for their violent tactics that have resulted in assault, loss of life, and destruction of property. 2) they aim to fight fascism. This is what Jesus did.. lol. He stood up to an authoritarian society amid Pharisees and others who wanted to shut him up. He had such courage to speak truth and push for progress that he was willing to go to the cross for us. He did not resort to violence, explosives or other destructive tactics. I don’t expect any of this to change your mind, but in the spirit of conversation I have decided to give you an honest reply to address the question you proposed. I wish the best for you wherever life takes you.

@OnlineAlias456 @actingliketommy @SecRubio Lots of slavery, rape, misogyny, and mass murder in the Bible I don't understand how anyone could believe in a god that supports that. I'm reading through it on my own and it's not appealing in the slightest I'm still in Genesis at the moment. Oh yeah and the loads of incest.

For sure. Honestly surprised at 1) how many people actually use ai composed replies in comment sections. It’s dominant on a lot of posts 2) how many people cannot spot when something is clearly Ai written 3) why people bother to engage with those sorts of comments/posts. If someone can’t put thought into a genuine message, why would I think they will care about my genuine response to it?

Wild take. Christian faith is founded on free will, compassion, redemption, freedom of speech (truth telling, remember Christ was literally crucified for telling his truth in the streets). Yes, Christian’s believe that the father and the son are the way for all, but we also acknowledge that everyone has their own unique path and also a choice to make. The bible already tells us that a majority will turn their cheek, yet it still encourages compassion to these individuals, and states that gods gift is still extended to them should they choose to receive it. Because of values like these the nation was founded with freedom of religion and much more in mind. So you get to practice anything you want, beleive whatever you want, and even say f Christian faith because of a constitution created by what was a majority of Christian’s and their values. No one says you have to beleive, that’s your choice. But to say f the same faith that provided you the opportunity to be “a political punk” is kinda wild.

This one is better, it’s more applicable to the context of the conversation, they compiled a broad swath of different types of queries well.. but it’s still two years old and again only covers GPT, along with three “bespoke” LLM products that probably serve a repackaged form of GPT. I also again did not see any control to account for where these models source information from. I think even with the pitfalls of the articles you have shown i would tend to agree that llm has a bit of a ways to go with certain specialty topics (law, medicine), but I don’t beleive modern llm is a whopping 90% inaccurate when responsibly used even on these topics, and definitely not 90% inaccurate on the vast majority of basic research topics. That certainly has not been my experience.

He thought he cooked so hard with this he sent a kissy face. HILLARIOUS. Bro.. you provided a study from THREE years ago (ai has progressed tremendously in three years) on ONE singular ai model (got 3.5) and in one niche area (medical papers) with virtually no control measures that I can see they applied to make sure the model pulled from credible sources. They even conceded in their own discussion comments that further research should be done to see how to ensure more accurate sources are referenced by the model.. not responsibly used at all. And you are using this to back up the claim/thesis that modern LLM are generally 90% inaccurate in all their research. WOW.

What?! The ai itself has sources.. realize ai can and often (depending on the model/mode you use) literally provides the sources with their response by default. You can also instruct ai to filter out certain sources during its research, or to include only a certain type of source(s). You think just because you read an article on the internet in your own research it’s true? Everything requires fact checking ai or not, sources have sources.. ie NY Times interviews a MD as a source on __, that doctor’s source for their comments is the medical journal/study ___. Etc etc. Ai in this context is simply a tool to accelerate research. Just like the human conducting their own research can do a poor job on their own, they can do a poor job with ai, and vise versa. In summary, makes no sense to criticize people for using ai as research tools when done correctly and responsibly. Only an insane person would ignore the efficiency benefits and just say hey do it all on your own. It’s like a boomer refusing to use cruise control in their car. And you said you think ai is 90% inaccurate in its research.. when I looked into why you would say something so outlandish it turns out you yourself have done a poor job at research (or at least representing the research you provided). The irony.. The claim you are throwing around to support this is a study on ONE singular ai model (gpt 3.5) from three years ago (that’s a big deal considering how much progress had been made since then) and on a very niche topic (medical papers). That study is nowhere comprehensive enough, or recent enough, and I would even argue controlled enough, to support the broad stance that current ai LLM models at large are 90% inaccurate on all things. Wildly inaccurate statement to try and back with that study. In the last year I have had ai generate entire computer programs, set up virtual machines, algorithms for trading bots, conduct more accurate research than most people have done on their own in their life and more with little to no correction. We had it generate graphic content for a select enterprise and without even telling it to, it took the initiative to find and adapt the brand guidelines for that enterprise and incorporate it into the graphic as well.. typography, color palette and more. It’s not doing all this being wrong 90% of the time, though the desire to affirm a user through confirmation bias with models remains a big issue with some LLM (grok definitely better about it over gpt).

@GenX_Groyper @RafIsGaming @EN0CX Why cant you site sources besides AI then? Can you not use the internet to look up proper research in this department rather than using AI? Seems lazy especially because AI is still 90% inaccurate in its results.

18% mandatory gratuity is even more expensive than the tip a lot of people will leave when they feel obligated lol. Also - that sounds like a good way to end up downsizing the level of traffic restruants get. “If you don’t like it don’t go” sounds good until you realize how many people will end up actually choosing to not eat out anymore. Then instead of making SOME money, these people are making NO money and out of a job/business. Now the issue of finding and competing for a dwindling job supply compounds. Tipping culture has gone from tip if the service is good, to tip _ % as industry standard, to baristas or concession stand worker acting like if you don’t tip 15-25% for pouring a coffee or handing you preheated food you are a terrible person lol. Not to mention there are places that actually have mandatory gratuity or other fees already, and then the staff still expect tips too. For instance check out door dash, fees and surcharges out the wazoo + the price of food and the person still excepts a large tip ontop of it all for a delivery they accepted. This all culminates to one truth: eating out has become a luxury for many. Even for those of us who can still comfortably afford it, you have to ask yourself why you want to? Costs to eat out (just speaking to food by itself) has already doubled to tripled in recent years for many locations. Now on top of that I have to tip at infinitely more places than was generally expected before, and the % of the tip is expected to be more than in recent years. Ontop of this, if I choose to spend even more money for a premium destination/culinary experience now I have to pay even more money in a tip after I already blessed you by paying premium prices for what is generally the same food as a less “prestigious/classy” restaurant. Just doesn’t seem like a good deal. Time is a factor too. If you’re hogging a table all night expect to have to pay for that, but on the contrary if I simply spend less than an hour at brunch why am I expected to tip that server even more than the hourly wage I make in an upper level white collar job for less time spent? Doesn’t make sense.. And btw this is coming from someone who has easily dropped $400 on meals with my wife before and have on occasion tipped well above industry standard (for example last Christmas I threw a waiter $100 on a bill that was probably only $150) so.. I’m not being a prude here just how I see it. If the expectation was 5-10% and for actual services only like wait staff at a restaurant, I would be out and about more often, which would equate to more total tip money for them anyways. But because we want to normalize 25% of any size bill, and all sorts other nonsense, you get people frequenting these places less and less.

To everyone saying that employers should pay their waitstaff workers more, keep in mind, what it would do to food prices overall. About 30% of orders are take outs where no one really expects a tip to be given. Now you’re penalizing them as well! Simple solution, add a mandatory gratuity to each table, let them know that in advance. Keep it at 18%. If the service was outstanding add an additional tip. If it was bad, don’t eat there any more and write a bad review. If you don’t like it, don’t eat out! Cook your own food or order take out! Another thing I am hearing a lot is “pay them a descent wage”, what exactly is a descent wage?

You shall know them by their fruits. Beware of the false prophets and wolfs in sheep’s clothing who appear outwardly as righteous but inside are ravenous wolves. $XRP and Christ following family.. there are those who are here to profit off of you and or lead you astray. Please be discerning in who is who. I like to engage with the community at large here (I’m only here for genuine engagements and discussion from those with similar interests), so when I asked this ”influencer” a simple and honest question about something they posted, they responded with attitude and sarcasm, which took me by surprise. Since he asked if he could answer any more questions I took him up on the offer and asked him why he appeared upset with me over something so trivial. I mean if you are trying to be a content creator you want engagement and to build community do you not? So why be upset over simple conversation. He then tells me to F off and blocks me. Simultaneously he claims to honor and follow god in his bio. Nowhere in scripture does it say to treat your neighbor this way. Even sinners have received more grace from Christ than this person has shown me for asking a simple question in the spirit of conversation. What I fear is that this person isn’t interested in genuine community, but more interested in how they can extract value from the community. Does the intersection in engagement he’s interested in end when he sees that the person may not be interested in the koolaid he is selling, because if so it’s disingenuous. I hope that not to be the case but I worry it was. Never the less there are many influencers who do fit the bill completely and I challenge each of you to make sure you read into those you follow heavily. You each deserve honest information and a community where we build eachother up, not ones where we seek to extract eachother for resources like engagement or sales/access to some course/exclusive community, etc. You aren’t a pawn to be used, you deserve genuine connections.
