I am very puzzled two days later why Mets fans are still so protective over David Wright being nicknamed Captain America over Aaron Judge. Wright had a worse WBC as captain than Judge and certainly didn’t get to the Final like Judge. Lastly Captain America is a comic book hero.

Nolan McLean started in the two Team USA losses. Joe Ryan didn't pitch. Tarik Skubal didn't pitch. Paul Skenes couldn't pitch. The question was "Is the young ROOKIE Nolan McLean ready to be thrown into these big spots?" That answer sadly is a no. He'll be fine against the Nats.
