@cfrederick29@matthewwinick Shaq couldn't lead LSU past the second round and was an instant top 5 player in the NBA as a rookie, same with Duncan. We've seen this play out many times.
We always do these stupid hypotheticals about “how good would a random college basketball team be if they had an NBA player on it?”
Just turn on the BYU game right now. You’ll have your answer.
@tensesurface@matthewwinick Not just training camp. I think one year in the nba and these top picks go to another level where if they went back in the tourney would dominate
@cfrederick29@matthewwinick We see how good the top rookies are immediately coming out of college and into the league nowadays. Think you’re a little out of date if you think three months training camp alone transformed guys like Flagg / Kon from end of bench guys to genuinely very good nba players
@cfrederick29@Tradakin@matthewwinick I agree , but the og post mentioned 1 random player , and if a guy like Isaiah Joe joined a team in the tourney, he wouldn’t lead them to a chip
@Tradakin@UnbiasBball@matthewwinick One year in the NBA and those guys carry Duke to an undefeated season if they go back. They weren’t able to do that as college kids. The level of training and the additional hours from ncaa to nba is big
@cfrederick29@UnbiasBball@matthewwinick The cool part is we don’t need to know if this is true. 8 months after not even making the Final 4, Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett were averaging 22 and 14 ppg respectively in the NBA.
@Aaron_Torres Settle down Aaron. It was a couple of games. Miami and high point won’t even get to the sweet 16. If we are being honest, in any given year only half a dozen teams really have a chance to win and it ain’t EVER a mid major. 🙄
High Point went 30-4, hasn't lost since mid-January - and wouldn't have sniffed an at large bid
Miami (OH) went undefeated in the regular season, finished 31-1 and ended up in Dayton
We REALLY need to re-evaluate how we go about selecting at-large teams for the NCAA Tournament
Texas may be the BIGGEST MISTAKE on being in over Auburn.
Pearl’s team beat Texas.
The Horns 18-14 looks better to the eye than Auburn’s 17-16…but Texas has a win over Chaminade and more home cupcakes than Auburn.
But both should be in over Miami Ohio

@ashotmagazine It’s crazy he has everyone winning around him. Which without his own awards implies they’re winning *in spite* of him. Which we all know is not the case. He gets shafted movie after movie. Why??
@secnumbersguy You SEC guys are so obsessed with “ifs”. It’s exhausting. Just do better next year. Missing the tourney in a rough year is not the end of the world. Auburn does not deserve a spot
Auburn CHOSE to play the 3rd toughest strength of schedule IN THE COUNTRY.
They have beaten 3 Top 16 teams.
Miami Ohio should NOT be rewarded over them for playing ZERO quad 1 games.
If Auburn plays a weaker schedule, they are in!
FUN FACT: every golf club manufacturer has publicly said robot testing isn’t the right way to test golf clubs.
Yet, some magazines STILL treat robot results like gospel.
P.S. - The people who actually make the clubs ALL disagree.
TPT driver shaft fitting.
Same head (Elyte TD)
Tensei Orange CK 60g vs TPT

+6.6 yds total
Std deviation had 46% less curve
Std deviation was 69% tighter on dispersion
Yes. The right shaft CAN help you hit it straighter.
Lucas Glover also switched into a new Qi4D this week, which is at least his third driver change of the year by my count.
With so many great drivers out there this year, there are a lot of guys who are still testing and swapping. More than usual for sure
