4 yrs ago this month, I began learning piano. This month, I was in a @washingtonian article on learning something new. As the #coronavirus news seems to get worse and worse, I am so thankful to have this outlet. I hope this inspires others to find sources of joy in dark times.

@SarahMackAttack We have used Zoom to live stream with classrooms, which works well & requires less bandwidth (in case you only have satellite internet in the Arctic like we did). There is also a great org- @EBTSOYP that connects explorers/scientists to classrooms (not affiliated just like them)

Youtube now says that you can't have a live chat if you make your content for kids which REALLY THROWS A WRENCH into our whole "have livestreamed events where students can ask questions" thing that we do for youtube live.
