@ManMilk2 It is NOT okay. A father's job is to discipline, protect and provide. Washing kids is supposed to be THE WOMAN'S JOB.

@JacksonDoud I would never ask for the usual, but if I was asked if I wanted the usual, I would say yes every time, even if I had never been there before

Dude behind me at lunch ordered “The usual.” Got hit back with a “and that would be?” Has to be absolutely devastating. Can’t even imagine.

A worker died at an Amazon warehouse in Oregon last week. For more than an hour, workers in the facility were instructed to continue working as the man lay dead. One worker wanted to help, but a manager told them to “Just turn around and not look. Let’s get back to work," according to The Western Edge. Link: thewesternedge.media/p/everyone-is-….

@UziCryptoo I think people that don’t want to have kids shouldn’t have them. I think that people that want to have kids should.

Friend of mine is 35 years old, married and doesn’t want kids. His household income is roughly $300k/yearly and his house is nearly paid off. They invest a good portion of their income for retirement, take multiple yearly vacations and live a nice life. I think people like this are going to regret not having kids in their future. One day when he’s old all he will have to look back on is the random stuff he bought and wasted money on. Instead of putting that money towards having kids and building a family he’s choosing consumerism. This just seems so wasteful and boring to me.

@pwafork @joanneharris_ I have never seen any evidence for the 30,000, 35,000, 40,000, 45,000 (depending on the day) have seen plenty of evidence that the CIA and Mossad tried to stage a colour revolution with agitator assets

Be very clear that when Albanese or any other leader calls for de-escalation, they're calling for the mullahs who killed 30,000 protesters over the course of a couple of nights to stay in power.

@RoadknightThe There’s a lot of grandparents who weren’t fit to parent their own children, let alone look after their grandkids

I did not know that childcare was subsidised by the government at up to $140/day. Here's another idea I've been suggesting for decades: pay the grandparents instead. At $1,400 a week (no seriously) for two kids five days a week, what grandparent wouldn't want to?? They don't need police checks; they've raised kids; they can pass on language, culture and family history. Or does that all make far too much common sense? abc.net.au/news/2026-04-1…

To be fair he did overreact. I prefer to do nothing at all for my birthdays either, I like to keep it simple. But if someone goes out their way to put effort into planning something then I’d go with it and not complain. He should’ve just appreciated it and went to the reservation.

@noplaceforsheep Donald Trump doesn’t know what he is going to say tomorrow, or even later in the same day. Nobody can really predict how this will play out. Everyone including china is just reacting to the actions and words of a madman.

So China will accept the US pirating its oil tankers, & just pressure Iran to fully open the Strait which is open to China anyway? I can’t see this working out, tbh, though I’m usually a glass half full kind of gal

@SeanPlunket Because Iran are only allowing ships that benefit them through the SOH. Stopping them will obviously hurt Iran.

Ok I’ll be honest how does putting a blockade on the SOH help stop the blockade you want Iran to lift?

Liberal Senator and Deputy Leader Jane Hume pre-empts Trump... ...calling for Australia to send warships to support Trump's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz... ...because it's in Australia's national interest for the Strait to be open.🤦‍♂️
