Y’all keep saying AI voices are getting channels demonetized like that’s the whole story. It’s not. This channel used a real human voice, showed her face, and spent days producing content but still got hit. At this point, YouTube needs to be more transparent with creators. So what now Maybe the problem isn’t AI Maybe it’s format patterns, repetitive storytelling, and how content is flagged at scale. And even with all the effort she still got penalized. Stop pushing the AI voice narrative. It’s misleading people.

YouTube hack I used to do 12 years ago: >YouTube used to only have 2 top comments under a video - and below it the rest of the comments in chronological order >Gangnam style was about to be the first video to hit 1 billion views >Traffic was unlike anything you’ve seen, thousands of comments per minute >I made a YouTube channel called Barack Obama, and commented “Not Bad” with the famous Obama not bad meme pfp >Got top comment 20 times a day >Back then you used to be able to have your featured video be the video of another channel >Used the Obama channel to promote other (monetized) channels >Thousands of people clicked on the top comment account and watched my video >100K+ views per video on new channels every single day You have no idea of the creative stuff we used to do before this guru nonsense

Got some folks reaction to this post ‘cos I said they can never get hit with inauthentic policy. I said what I said Except they get carried away by the success and keep repeating the pattern, they won’t get hit. Even pure storytelling channels that keep switching patterns do not get hit. Mass production of templated contents is the major issue. I know a lot of storytelling that are very ok with all the demonetization shouts. I dey my house mae una kon beat me😅

Update: A YouTube manager just emailed to say my channel was "manually verified" and my demonetization is now final. But my private appeal video STILL has 0 views. No human has actually watched our proof. Even worse, YouTube has now completely DISABLED my live chat support so I cannot contact them anymore. We have a team of 20+ people and spend HUNDREDS of HOURS on our animations. We just want a real human to look at our evidence. @thesarmie Same storytelling that we even incorporate in hip hop? If only AI can disappear for a month, then we will see the real "YouTubers" or if faceless YouTube gets banned by YouTube (which is impossible). Never seen corpse or blackie (earliest faceless YouTubers) say things like that.

Slightly out of point but Life can happen to anyone tho, there’s no one that can’t be touched, I lost over $30k. Only standing ’cos as much as I love storytelling YouTube, I still have my normal business and was able to move to better niches fast. It’s devastating. Sometimes, the process of starting all over again gets too overwhelming, even if the person is building anything all over again. That said, The last time I said people doing just storytelling without upgrading themselves do not understand the game and would probably pack up if anything goes wrong, I was almost hanged to the stake. But that’s just the truth, there’s nothing wrong with storytelling, problem is when people refuse to grow after YouTube said they don’t want that kind of content. But then, there’s absolutely no point throwing jabs at anyone who “mastered” it and things got bad.
