@Alan_Alger_ @REDactionAFC I hate it too. Awful used at any sporting event

@OohTonyAdams @REDactionAFC Ha ha, never known someone to get so bashed for their preferences.

@_PhilCosta About 6 or 7, surely should’ve been a yellow for how many he racked up
English

@Alan_Alger_ He’s still holds
the record transfer fee for a goalkeeper not that it’s any consolation for us. He’s just not that good
English

Job done! Ideal reset result.
Although, in some ways was that just the same as the last two games but with a keeper that makes superb saves?

Gabriel Jesus, contender, pound for pound, for one of the worst investments this club have ever made! That passage of play on the half-time whistle there. Shocking! #AFC
English

@Alan_Alger_ He’s so average at times , zero end product more often than not , Has no tricks, runs up blind alleys too often. Either play off the right or central
English

@Alan_Alger_ Highlighting which players like Martinelli have run their course .

Chickens coming home to roost all over the place from this style of play - which we adopted way back in August 2024…
A lot of these players cannot be relied upon. The depth isn’t what everyone was saying back in the first few months of this season either.
A late-period-Wenger-esque back-to-back games double cup exit!
Credit to Southampton. #AFC

Noni Madueke is a doubt to face Arsenal’s first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Sporting due to a knee injury.
England winger Madueke went to ground after a collision with Uruguay’s Rodrigo Aguirre in the 38th minute of Friday’s 1-1 draw at Wembley Stadium.
After the match, Madueke walked through Wembley’s media mixed zone with a knee brace on his left leg, sparking fears of a serious issue.
However, sources briefed on the injury believe that it is a minor issue, with the forward likely to miss the FA Cup quarter-final against Southampton on Saturday and possibly the first game against Sporting on April 7.

@themagic_tophat @TomCantonMedia I’ve thought for years if you’re in Europe you can’t play in the league cup. The teams on it would take it much more seriously if the genuinely think they can win it without the bigger clubs
English

@TomCantonMedia Personally I’d either bin the League Cup or make it a competition solely for sides not in Europe and have the Uefa Conference League spot as the prize you get from it.
English

@Alan_Alger_ Zubamendi really poor. Can’t receive the ball in midfield anywhere near like Jorginho or Partey. Until we get that player we’re going to be limited in build up. Big Vic is “honest” in old money, but that’s not cutting it at this level
English

Tapping the ball about in our area on nearly every possession to then just launch it. Cup finals are usually won by a bit of spark, endeavour or brilliance. We didn’t have anything of the sort. Extremely poor all round, regardless of the Kepa mistake. #AFC
