People in the UK please know that here in the US we have once again been subjected to Stewart Houston, who has complained (again) about Gabriel being overly emotional and Mikel doing too much in the technical area. No idea why he still gets hired. Must have a great agent.

@TomCantonMedia Personally I’d either bin the League Cup or make it a competition solely for sides not in Europe and have the Uefa Conference League spot as the prize you get from it.

International break brainstorm ideas to reduce English fixture schedule. Carabao Cup semi-finals reduced to one leg at a neutral ground. (Wembley or Cardiff). All C/PL clubs enter League Cup at R3, exc/European-qualified clubs who come in at R4. Same in the FA Cup. Thoughts?

@Alan_Alger_ Zubamendi really poor. Can’t receive the ball in midfield anywhere near like Jorginho or Partey. Until we get that player we’re going to be limited in build up. Big Vic is “honest” in old money, but that’s not cutting it at this level

Tapping the ball about in our area on nearly every possession to then just launch it. Cup finals are usually won by a bit of spark, endeavour or brilliance. We didn’t have anything of the sort. Extremely poor all round, regardless of the Kepa mistake. #AFC
