Just because I didn’t allow the SS2 Science students to cheat during their exam on Thursday, they went to report me to their class teacher. The class teacher then went to the principal’s office and falsely accused me of collecting money from the students for the exam. Honestly, it’s the audacity of the class teacher that surprises me. Because I refused to let the students cheat in the exam hall, you still went ahead to lie against me. Now, you’ve put the students in trouble. I explained everything to the principal. I told him that when I entered the classroom to supervise, the class captain brought me Fanta and Gala. I asked what it was for, and he said the students had contributed money to buy it for me. I thanked them. When the exam started, I instructed them that if I caught anyone cheating, I would send them out. Then, out of nowhere, a student said, “After you collected our Fanta and Gala.” I immediately replied that the items were still on the table and they could take them back after the exam. The principal then asked if that was all, and I said yes. Thankfully, I had witnesses, who testified to it. The principal then instructed the class teacher to submit their scripts to his office, and that the class must present the student who made that statement, along with the six students I sent out for cheating.
RAYO@DatBarrackgurl

I’m going to the principal’s office to answer a query. I’ll be back.

@itzchristunique This happened to me a few years ago while I was managing a project in the north. I received debits of #15,000 eight times within an hour. I went to the @gtbank to complain, I got a refund after a month or so. I discovered that it was used on a betting platform. Please follow up

A mutual got debited of 395,424 from her GT bank account for no reason. She mailed them and was told it will take up to 40-90 days for it to be resolved. No good respond, no transparency and how it was taken out.. Today she went to the bank and the only good thing they could tell her was that there's nothing they can do.. She was told that even if she likes, let her sleep in rhe bank. They also told her she was the one that used the money. She didn't initiate the transaction but GT bank claimed she had used her ATM card to make the transaction.. Since you GT bank claimed the ATM card was used, why not should her the evidence? At least provide evidence indicating it was through the ATM that the money was deducted.. The nonchalant and "you will do nothing" attitude here is top-notch.. If it was a well known person or a rich person, I am very sure they will try to protect their bank and solve the issue at once.. Please let's create awareness for her so she can recover her Money.. Let's make this known to everyone.. If you have experienced this with any bank, please this is your chance to call them out.. This is the best Time to call them out.. don't air this please.. GT bank refund @AdageorgeA her money please!!!

I think it’s important to draw a clear line here. Mount Zion Faith Ministries does not antagonize culture. If it did, you wouldn’t see films where characters like Abejoye proudly speak Yoruba, wear Yoruba attire, use indigenous names, and celebrate African identity with confidence and dignity. What Mount Zion addresses is not culture, it is spiritual allegiance. There is a difference between: -Language, fashion, music, proverbs, and community values (culture) and -The worship of other deities and spiritual practices that contradict Christian convictions. As Christians, our worldview is shaped by Scripture. So when Mount Zion speaks against the worship of other gods or practices considered spiritually harmful, it is not attacking ethnicity or heritage, it is expressing a theological position. You can appreciate Yoruba language and aesthetics, and still reject the worship of deities like Yemoja based on your faith. That’s not cultural hostility, that’s religious consistency. We must be mature enough to separate cultural expression from spiritual doctrine. Respecting people does not mean compromising beliefs. Ire o 🙏🏾

“When the Night Burned Madamai” A True Story from Southern Kaduna By: Mary Kurum Andrew The village of Madamai once woke to the sound of roosters, children laughing on their way to school, and women pounding millet in the early morning sun. It was a peaceful farming community in Southern Kaduna where everyone knew each other’s name. But one night, peace did not wake up with the village. The Night Everything Changed It began with distant gunshots. At first, many thought it was hunters returning late. But then the dogs barked wildly. Then came shouting. Then flames. Armed men stormed into Madamai under the cover of darkness. Houses were set on fire one after another. People ran barefoot into the bush, carrying children, leaving behind food, clothes, and memories. Mothers clutched babies to their chests. Fathers shouted names into the smoke. Children cried for parents they could not see. By morning, the village that once breathed life was covered in ashes. A Home Turned to Memory Alice Ishaya stood where her house used to be. A four-bedroom home built slowly over many years from farming profits, gone in one night. Her cooking pots were melted. Her clothes were ashes. Her children’s school books were blackened remains. She didn’t cry loudly. Some pains are too deep for noise. She simply said, “Everything I worked for slept here… and never woke up.” John Iliya thought he had escaped the worst when his family fled Madamai. They found shelter in another village, Mallagun. A kind man allowed many displaced families to stay. They started again. Borrowed clothes. Shared food. Tried to smile. Then another attack came. Once again, John gathered his family and ran. Later he said quietly, “It is a terrible thing to run from your home. It is worse to run from the place you ran to.” Today, many Madamai families still live away from their land. Some stay with relatives. Some live in temporary shelters. Some return to farm during the day but sleep elsewhere at night. But something refuses to die in them: Hope. They still greet each other warmly. They still pray. They still believe one day children will again laugh in Madamai without fear. This is not a folktale. No spirits. No magic drums. Just real people with real scars. Yet their courage tells a story louder than fear: A house can burn, but the human spirit is harder to destroy. Land can be abandoned, but belonging cannot be erased. Communities fall, but they also rise.

STOP WASTING MONEY: HERE'S HOW TO CALCULATE BLOCKS FOR YOUR FENCE LIKE A PRO You're about to fence your land, and the first question hits you: "How many blocks do I actually need?" Get it wrong, and you'll either run out of blocks mid-project (causing delays and extra transport costs) or you'll over-buy and waste money on blocks you'll never use. But here's the thing, calculating blocks for fencing isn't complicated. You don't need to be a mathematician or an engineer. You just need to follow a simple step-by-step process that I'm about to show you. Let me walk you through exactly how to do this, using a standard Nigerian plot as an example. THE 7-STEP FORMULA TO CALCULATE FENCING BLOCKS STEP 1: Calculate Your Land Perimeter First, you need to know the total distance around your property, that's your perimeter. A standard full plot in Nigeria is typically 50 feet by 100 feet. The formula for perimeter is simple: Perimeter = 2 × (Length + Width) So for a full plot: Perimeter = 2 × (100ft + 50ft) = 2 × 150ft = 300 feet If your land has different dimensions, just plug in your numbers. For example: * Half plot (50ft × 50ft) = 200 feet perimeter * 60ft × 120ft plot = 360 feet perimeter STEP 2: Find the Length of a Standard Hollow Block In Nigeria, a regular 9-inch hollow block measures 18 inches long, which is 1.5 feet. However, when you're laying blocks, you need to account for the mortar joints between them. So instead of using 1.5 feet, we use 1.7 feet per block to include the mortar space. This small adjustment makes your calculation much more accurate. STEP 3: Divide Perimeter by Block Length Now divide your total perimeter by the length of one block (including mortar): Number of blocks per row = Perimeter ÷ Block length Using our example: 300ft ÷ 1.7ft = 176.5 blocks Round this up to 177 blocks for one complete row around your fence. STEP 4: Determine the Number of Courses (Rows) A "course" is simply one horizontal row of blocks. How high do you want your fence? That determines how many courses you'll need. For example: * 6 courses = approximately 4 feet high (typical for most residential fences) * 8 courses = approximately 5.3 feet high * 10 courses = approximately 6.6 feet high * 12 courses = approximately 8 feet high (for maximum privacy/security) Let's say you want a standard fence of 6 courses high. STEP 5: Multiply Blocks Per Row by Number of Courses Now multiply the blocks needed for one row by your total number of courses: Total blocks = Blocks per row × Number of courses 177 blocks × 6 courses = 1,062 blocks So you need 1,062 blocks for your fence. But wait, don't order yet! STEP 6: Add Allowance for Breakages, Corners & Waste In real construction, things happen: * Some blocks arrive broken * Some crack during handling * Corners require special cuts and positioning * You might make mistakes during laying Professional builders always add a 5-10% allowance for these inevitable losses. Let's use 5%: Allowance = 5% of 1,062 = 0.05 × 1,062 = 53 blocks STEP 7: Add Your Main Number and Allowance Finally, add your calculated blocks to your allowance: Final total = 1,062 + 53 = 1,115 blocks So for a standard 50ft × 100ft plot with a 6-course fence, you need approximately 1,115 blocks. QUICK REFERENCE: BLOCKS NEEDED FOR COMMON PLOT SIZES Here's a handy table for standard Nigerian plots (6 courses high, with 5% allowance): * Half plot (50ft × 50ft): ~706 blocks * Full plot (50ft × 100ft): ~1,115 blocks * 60ft × 120ft plot: ~1,338 blocks * 100ft × 100ft plot: ~1,412 blocks For different fence heights, just adjust the number of courses and recalculate. PRO TIPS TO SAVE MONEY AND AVOID MISTAKES 1. Measure Your Land Accurately 2. Consider Your Gate Openings 3. Buy Quality Blocks 4. Store Blocks Properly It takes just 5 minutes to do the math, but it can save you thousands of naira and weeks of project delays. #BSATProperties

A reverend shared something with us once, and it has helped me to appreciate the place of cultural imprint in light of Christian values from a global perspective. The reverend I refer to is Reverend Samson Ajetumobi of Men of Issachar Vision He is a very conservative Yoruba man whose ministrations are backed by transformative exploits globally He has missionaries in many nations who are daily winning souls for the kingdom. He said he and his wife travelled to Hawaii for the purpose of evangelism some years ago They arrived on Saturday, and by Sunday morning, they dressed up to look for a church to attend so that they could introduce themselves to the local preacher. The intention was to get some real-time information from the local preacher about the people and see where they would start their assignment from. When they got to the church, they discovered the pastor was in shorts, a loose shirt, and had tattoos all over his body. His members were also in shorts and bikinis, and most of them had tattoos on their bodies He said he and his wife were the only ones in a suit and they felt they really needed to get these people born again because of their appearance He said he listened to the sermon and he realised the pastor was sound in his doctrine They also prayed and he realised the pastor was full of the Holy Spirit After the service, he asked the pastor why he and his members were dressed that way The pastor said, "Would you have asked this question if you were in Saudi Arabia or Egypt, or Dubai and you saw me wearing a Jalabia with a turban on my head?" I have to identify with the locals here and blend into their local culture We are not a suit-wearing people, it does not suit our weather We are seafarers, and we dwell on water. That was the practical lesson he learnt from the scripture "To the Greeks I became a Greek". We are not a suit-wearing people; it does not suit our understanding of the gospel Another Minister, Andrew Wommack, talked about his European tour of the gospel. He got to Germany, and the hall was filled with people drinking beer before the service began The Germans, however, said Coffee is for unbelievers He got to Romania he found believers drinking coffee The Romanians said beer is for unbelievers He got to England, and he found the Reverends of the Baptist church smoking and drinking with members after the service Drinking scotch and whiskey, and smoking cigarettes and a pipe He said he grew up in rural America and has never drank coffee before in his life, not to mention any of the other things he saw fellow Christians doing based on their culture He said that in none of these places did the Holy Spirit call them unholy or unworthy Drinking scotch and whiskey, and smoking cigarettes and pipe, and were filled with the Holy Spirit Most religious people have replaced the pharisees in their conduct They only preserve a form of godliness without having a true knowledge of God -GSW-

When I was a PA My boss will offer me and the driver food on Saturdays when we work from his house The food was usually leftovers from the freezer, which they usually wouldn't bother to microwave properly Sometimes the food would be between good and bad The driver and I would have to stylishly throw the food away We didn't ask for it, and we were paid our full salaries as at when due Years later, as I had my own drivers and PAs I refuse to offer them food, and I refuse to overwork them I remember how the driver and I used to complain bitterly those days, and I know we had a sense of entitlement that we shouldn't have I didn't want my staff to have the same So I pay very well, I don't overwork my staff, and I offer them nothing from our kitchen
Small girl 🙈 big God 💪@TheOnlyKemi

I have a genuine question for everyone. If you have a cleaning person who comes to your home and leaves on the same day. Do you offer them food? Recently, my regular cleaner asked if he could have some garri to eat while I was eating, and it made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I've thought about this before, but I'm concerned that offering food might create a sense of familiarity since I’m already paying for the service. What do you all think?

My husband and I always have arguments about how he spends money on his siblings. They all depend on him as if he came to the world only for them. I have told him several times to reduce how he sponsor everything they ask for. I told him to let them find their destiny, let them suffer a little, let them do the hard works but he Refused. He said, they suffered when he had nothing and now they have to enjoy.. Last week one of the siblings visited unannounced and I sent her back home that same day. When my husband came back, he started shouting at me, for the first time my baby is shouting at me.. He left the house that same evening and till now I haven't seen him. I have apologized on phone yet no respond. This is all because of his siblings, they are my problem.. Please what can I do to get back my husband back? I don't want to lose my marriage. I want to build a bible presentation AI agent for church use. Imagine Bible verses coming up on screen as the Pastor preaches just based on what he’s talking about or his paraphrases and quotes. I want to build this completely in public, starting today. Thoughts?
