@auengineer @ArthurMacwaters There is no crewed version of the falcon heavy. Nor is there a version of dragon that could could handle the excess mass. You're making a hypothetical counterexample but you're doing no accounting for the extra costs.
If you did that it'd be a lot closer.

Not even close, the shuttle launches were around $1bn per launch while Falcon with crew top out around $250m. Add to that the massive difference in dollar value and it's even further apart. You can also compare NASA's payload rocket launches (ATLAS) to Falcon and again, it's not even close.

@RealDonKeith It wasn't a hoax though, they got a conviction in court that wasn't struck down by any appeal. Trump pardoning his campaign manager for the crime he was convicted of with abundant evidence isn't the same as mueller perpetrating a hoax.

@Timcast Why is Mueller not a good man? Everything in the Mueller report is the result of a real investigation. Just because Trump was able to use his position of power to escape accountability that doesn't make Mueller wrong for investigating.

@daltonbrewer You folks dramatically overestimate the difficulty of the gadgets that are in teslas. I have heard endlessly for almost a decade about OTA updates but when other OEMs got them no one cared because they had already debugged their software before installing it the first time.
