Crimson Desert launched without support for Intel Arc GPUs. The game won't boot on any Arc card. Pearl Abyss says they are not planning to support it and told people to ask for refunds.

Men with decades of experience at Blizzard who were responsible for classic and beloved games were fired and disgraced for being on email chains where employees joked about hooking up with fans at Blizzcon events. Their names were scrubbed from the games they made. Their friends, like Jeff Kaplan, who dodged allegations were either pushed out by Kotick’s new management or saw the writing on the wall and found their exits. The Blizzard that people loved no longer exists.

100% correct. I have reported extensively on this on my site with many articles. Also ESG compliance was a big factor. Kotick brought in Brian Stolz from McKinsey to establish a corporate "diversity" flywheel to get rid of the Blizzard OG devs. Afrasiabi was a sacrificial lamb. I believe Blizzard wanted that lawsuit as a pretense to cleanse Bizz, take full control and raise their ESG scores. Also Kotick probably leaked the Cosby Suite photos to Kotaku. Rumor has it the Kotaku killed a story years earlier for Kotick. So they owed Kotick. The entire affair was a carefully orchestrated plan.

Blizzard used to have a firewall. Parent company CFO did not get to direct and talk to Blizzard staff. If they wanted something they had to go through the President of Blizzard or founders.
