First sip of coffee today. It's so wonderful.

I not only loved how whiskey made me feel. I love how whiskey tastes. I loved being the guy who knew every bartender and could walk into any room and meet anyone. I not only loved how cocaine made me feel. I loved being the guy who always had it or could get it. I had to first get clean from the substances. But then I had to deal with the version of myself I'd been avoiding my whole life. Sober strong.

@Thegrumpydumpty Too kind. I had them patched and sewn in Atlanta. Just got the boxes in so I can ship them from Tennessee.

I am 9 years sober. ❤️ This is the only photo I have from the Dryden Crisis & Stabilization Centre where my sobriety began. A counsellor named Carrie gave me advice. She said "Stay on your sober path and people will come to you" She said "Never leave your path." She was right.
