Today’s streetscape view — a lovely winter’s afternoon on @Boroondara’s Chrystobel Crescent, Hawthorn, reminding me of the pleasure it is to look at what other people’s money built.

It took a maddening 20min to find a park @fashion_capital yesterday to see “Rone Presents Home.” Almost gave up but it was well worth the experience — something like being part of an eerie discovery of a home hastily abandoned by its humble occupants after some cataclysmic event.

Seduce. Betray. Ascend. The tagline for @VictorianOpera’s premiere of Elena Kats-Chernin’s version of Monteverdi’s The Coronation of Poppea completely sums up the experience. It certainly wasn’t going to be a venture without risk but local audiences should leaving buzzing.

Almost 13 years after its Komische Oper Berlin premiere, the Australian premiere of Elena Kats-Chernin’s version of Monteverdi’s Coronation of Poppea is just about set to go here at Melbourne’s seaside @PalaisTheatre.
