No sane person believes they won the war. Wiping out their leaders and military kicks the can down the road. We can still seize or destroy Kharg Island and cripple their economy for years to come. They are led by lunatics and this cripples their ability to harm others without boots on the ground.

To the extent the Trump Administration had no endgame, doing everything possible to destabilize the Iranian regime must be it, if not outright regime change. I just don't think we should take seriously people who use pronouns in their Twitter bios. But I also don't think we should take seriously people who declared Trump a war criminal yesterday morning and then a chicken last night.
