The Left wants kids to be able to identify as anything they want... except conservative.

As a (very) active user who doesn't want this site to fail, I couldnt give two shits (let alone $8/mo!) about a blue check. But an ad-free user experience where Twitter engineers focus algorithms on serving most informative content I want to see instead of ads, THAT I'd pay for!

@JohnathanPerk @elonmusk People keep making excuses that it's a private company. Whatever company it is still has to abide by the law. I would say any company that doesn't allow free speech would be breaking the law.

This is a battle for the future of civilization. If free speech is lost even in America, tyranny is all that lies ahead.

@Freedomautospa @tribelaw Trump claimed the 2016 election was rigged at the polls when he was down in the polls. Same con, different year. You need to stop believing one man and remain focused on the fact that our system is solid, honest and run by Americans with integrity. Always has been.

@tribelaw The first sentence is very sad, but increasingly close to accurate every day. The ruling against Trump regarding his taxes is a small step in the right direction.

@Ollie_Cycles I agree that street parking should have a higher price than transit. But transit fares are not the primary "cost" of transit for most. Frequency, convenience, time to get from here to there, and if you can get "there" at all are bigger reasons people chose driving over transit.

@energysmartwv All that said, developing a low-cost, low-overhead, way for those without dedicated off-street parking to charge their vehicles is absolutely critical to the success of EVs. More work is being done, and there are some great pilots (e.g., NYC, LA) that we need to learn from.

@energysmartwv I can't find the exact code now, but I understand that the NEC requires that 240V public charging cords be permanently attached, and there is not an approved connector in the US as in Europe. Also, unfortunately, theft of valuable copper is much bigger problem in the US. [more]
