@ISAQUES81 @karo_yard It’s possible that it might be a deliberate choice to allow the highlights to clip. Personally I think it looks better than the overly flat photos that most smartphones give nowadays

Galaxy S26 Ultra vs Xiaomi 17 Ultra - Main Camera Shots * I don't know why, even with LOFIC technology, Xiaomi can't deliver better HDR here. * I've heard from some reviewers that Samsung has the most powerful HDR so far. Is that true? Credits: @karo_yard

@ISAQUES81 @karo_yard No more Samsung. But to the point; the X17U's image is vivid and vibrant, the Samsung's image is _just_ vibrant. It's missing that something that makes a good photo. Not eye-catching, but good. I can't quite put my finger on it.

@Cartidise That’s a difference of 0.097 stops, completely negligible in real life. Personally I’d rather take the native full res photos from the X300 Ultra’s tele. What was more impressive was the 1/1.28” 83mm f2.4 camera of the Pura 80 Ultra 👀

wow, so even after cropping to 85mm, the Find X9 Ultra’s 3X captures 6.5% more light than X300 Ultra’s native 85mm X9U: 1/1.28-inch f/2.2 70mm 3.5X crop factor effective aperture at 70mm: 3.5 x 2.2 = f/7.7 effective aperture at 85mm: 3.5 x 1.21 (cropped to 85mm) x 2.2 = f/9.32 X300U: 1/1.4-inch f/2.55 85mm 3.78X crop factor effective aperture: 3.78 x 2.55 = f/9.64

@Cartidise I don’t think 10x is an optical range phones should be aiming for tbh. Stick to portrait focal lengths like somewhere between 85 to 135mm optically, imo. That way larger sensors can be used with wide apertures

I see a lot of idiots complaining about the use of JN5 sensor on the Find X9 Ultra’s 230mm f/3.5 10X lens This phone is literally peak, with the best main camera, best 3X, & 1/2” UW How do you want the engineers to fit a 1/1.4” 10X in there? Use some fucking brain

@rider_r18355 @sondesix It can replace a low end compact point and shoot, particularly the ones with small 1/2.3” sensors. However it’s not a proper alternative to the 1 inch type compacts due to them having full optical zoom, and it can’t replace midrange interchangeable-lens cameras

Leica Leitzphone by Xiaomi is essentially the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, but with several nice changes. What makes Leitzphone special: ✅ A customisable, rotatable camera ring ✅ Two Leica essential looks: M9 & M3 ✅ Several bokeh styles in portrait mode ✅ Some exclusive frames/watermarks ✅ CAI content credentials ✅ A more refined design But honestly, spending that much more is not worth it when you can buy the regular 17 Ultra. You'll get ~95% of the experience with the 17 Ultra.

@Wvisioncreation Everyone here's praising the Night ON photo but to me it looks horribly denoised into a watercolor painting. The details in the Night OFF photo look the most realistic imo. I suspect the Night ON photo is also overexposed compared to real life but people just think bright = good

What’s really going on here? 🤔 Chinese phones: aggressive AI processing X Tech: “We need that. Samsung is behind.” Samsung: more balanced processing X Tech: “Scamsung AI. Fake photography.” iPhone: dull colors Samsung: vibrant Chinese brands: extra saturation X Tech: iPhone → “Natural colors.” Samsung → “Fake oversaturation.” Now Samsung reduces saturation vs older models → X Tech: “Samsung colors are dull.” So which one is it? Natural… or vibrant? These double standards are getting boring. 😅 , Shot On S26 Ultra 1x main camera

@xJohnnyManueLx Just looked into it, looks like it has much better OIS and it’s better integrated with Vivo’s BlueImage chip for better colour accuracy and better HDR. Definitely seems significant enough to call it an upgrade

@Sankew06 It’s not a diving boars trackpad, it can be clicked anywhere. Just missing the force recognition. It’s not as bad as it sounds

i don't care what anyone says, but the MacBook Neo is not worth it -Only 8GB RAM -No Touch ID on the base model -No Backlit keys -No force touch trackpad, it's a diving board trackpad -Weak I/O you should probably get a M2, M3 or M4 MacBook Air at a discount instead.

@rshalmir @p4r1hh @LeakerApple “Retina” only refers to a pixel density greater than what can be distinguished at a normal viewing distance, none of the other stuff. “Liquid” retina is just a retina display with curved corners
