DTCC just crossed the line from theory to production. Today, the organization that settles roughly $2.5 quadrillion in U.S. securities annually processed its first live trades using tokenized assets, not a pilot on paper, real trades in a live environment. 📌 JPMorgan opened the day by converting the Invesco QQQ Trust into a tokenized asset
📌 30+ firms participated, including Goldman Sachs, BlackRock, and Vanguard
📌 DTCC called it the largest tokenization production initiative yet, by asset classes and participant count
📌 Settlement ran on permissioned infrastructure. Hyperledger Besu and Canton Network ( not public chains) 
📌 Full commercial launch is targeted for October 2026 This is the difference between "tokenization is coming" and "tokenization just happened, inside the system that already runs Wall Street.

Real-world asset tokenization just crossed $31B on public blockchains. Up over 400% since early 2025. The shift in one line: this stopped being a pilot program and became infrastructure. 📈 Six asset categories now independently exceed $1B on-chain; Treasuries, private credit, commodities, corporate bonds, sovereign debt, and institutional funds. We're watching this one closely, because the rules being written now shape everything built next.
