ORMONDE SHOOTING SUMMARY
Two businessmen were killed during a brazen armed robbery in Ormonde, Johannesburg, while transporting cash in a convoy.
Yusuf Modan showed exceptional bravery by turning back to assist colleagues under attack, despite the danger.
Abdul Hamid Moosa had already been fatally wounded, and Modam was later shot and killed while confronting the attackers. A security guard was seriously injured.
The heavily armed suspects ambushed the convoy, leading to a high-speed chase and shootout. One attacker was killed, another injured, and the rest fled with stolen cash.
