This boss actually needs to go it genuinely makes me want to stop doing Dreglord expeditions.

Dancing Lion might actually be the most discouraging boss to try and learn properly.

@VeltisLeEvil Good stuff boss, anything in particular that held it back from receiving an even higher rating?

@w1ngsoffiregirl He's probably my favourite boss added in the DLC I'll be honest. (Although his stats are incredibly overtuned) 😭

@w1ngsoffiregirl Sakura Dance and Chasing Slash would normally be pretty standard changes, but it compliments his kit so much that he immediately became an all-time favourite.
There's also something weirdly cathartic with Genichiro's struggle ultimately being reciprocated inside Wolf's memory.

@estus_addict 100% agree with MGS1 being better than MGS2, although the gameplay not having evolved is a very hot take as i'd say this is the biggest technical improvement between titles.
(Not counting the jump from the NES games to MGS1)

Beat Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (2001)
A great, exuberant plot - Kojima's writing stays sharp, as expected!
But honestly?
The gameplay feels largely unevolved, and paired with the tedious Big Shell & mission objectives, seals it as a pretty middling experience.
7.5/10

Beat Metal Gear Solid (1998) A strange, ambitious title full of odd ingenuity - often asking the player to interact with the game outside of the game, which keeps you thinking. It's theatrical, pantomime-like, and ahead of the times in terms of cinematography. Classic! 9/10
