I’m rly happy that games seemingly started adding chapter and act title drops a lot more lately. Like just recent memory had re9, silksong and e33 do that and it’s just really cool, there’s some gravitas to it especially if it’s well timed(or hard to achieve in the case of skong)

@Nostalgia_REBH Because some people in the community love to shit on 7/8/RE2R in a pathetic attempt to prop up their beloved classic games that they feel so insecure about, so they gotta shit on everything new Capcom releases.
The Us vs Them mentality is childish, both eras are incredible.

Beat Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999)
An expansive sequel, fully committing to its action gameplay, while narrative choices & ammo crafting add great player agency.
But Nemesis steals the show.
He is the perfect stalker - Making Mr X look like a prototype in comparison!

Beat Resident Evil 2 (1998) Feeling more like 'action-horror' this time, More linearity, less thought-provoking, lower stakes. Ink Ribbons and Ammo are plentiful. This reduces any potential tension to "running and gunning". Fun, but too safe, and much too forgiving! 7.5/10

@Azreal51265232 And this is the graphically downgraded version too, I think.
Performance was so bad on launch, that Ubisoft scaled back NPC crowd sizes and graphical LOD.
I think on PC, you can still reinstate these older graphical settings with Mods.
Still my favourite AC!

@dub_bossman69 5 and 6 are massively held up by some admittedly fun co-op, but they're both completely and utterly mediocre experiences. Other action shooters of the time are substantially better (Gears, Dead Space, etc)

Sorry but resident evil 6 is not a good game
While it has some of the most ridiculous moments you’ll ever see in a resident evil game, it still doesn’t save it from being bad
It’s not the worst in the series considering resident evil 0 exists

@DeadlyxDreaming I feel the same way but with Google Maps, all you had to do was search and click the 'Maps' tab, and how it's either completely removed or hidden. I've even used plugins to restore it but they always fucking break after a while
