Season 2 dropping on Thursday, a quick look at the PvP realms in US and EU for faction balance... Aaaah, ok that feels good. Things that could be improved? For sure! The balance at max level and the balance between people who *actually* engage in PvP is going to be different. But for a first stab at just balancing active characters on the realm, two months in, not bad. Super proud of this one, this started as a hair brained idea after a conversation with @AggrendWoW about never actually biting the bullet on trying a faction balancing system and I had a nutty idea to try and pull it off with minimal effort and large payoff. Within a week (we were only two weeks out from SoD launch!) we managed to turn this around with the help of two heroic engineers and the Classic QA team.

Anyone willing to start in Classic Era will face this hard wall in the end game. How can an item be sold at 14K gold and a potion at 800 gold? GDKPs synergise with bots and gold selling all together in the price spiral. Why not imposing price limits at the AH and gold trading?

I like Season of Discovery and how the WoW Classic team are more engaged with its community than in the past, but sharing a bit more like the Turtle WoW team do about how they're dealing with bots and gold sellers would improve even more this perception

Lo del FOMO me dio duro con Classic en 2019 cuando la vida dio un bofetón a mis ganas de meterme en el salseo de Mando'kir. Pero me di cuenta de que cuando más feliz fui fue jugando a mi ritmo en Nostalrius, y así enfoco ahora mi tiempo libre

@OrbitClassicWoW Tuve una experiencia así en Hardcore, pero tanto ahí como en SoD siempre he sufrido un FOMO constante. Siempre estaba ahí, y he aprendido que nunca se va (por cómo me tomo yo los MMOs).

@Yevy_games Mi consejo: si en un tiempo el espíritu gamer de WoW vuelve a llamar a tu puerta (nunca muere), quizás podrías enfocar WoW, si te vale la pena, más como un dad gamer y hacer login para levelear un poco, hacer quests, ver el open world una horilla y seguir siendo feliz fuera IRL

@Yevy_games Raiding con un guild es muy bonito y requiere un compromiso serio, con metas y progreso, y se hacen amigos. Pero el tiempo que requiere suele terminar en conflicto con la vida real, lamentablemente.
