@AdamBlackhall @wackie To be fair, we always have. Plenty of services show loaders and spinners to make it seem like it's working harder than it is. Users can often distrust systems that operate _too_ fast.

We’re rolling out summaries for Articles now. Just tap the Summarize button if you want to know if it’s worth your time to read it (or if your attention span is 12 seconds).

@wackie That’s a fair point. Users are used to the stream with AI so perhaps it feels better to the user to simulate that.

@OrdinaryInds i’m sure it’s cached. maybe they replay the stream with timings so it appears live. feels more smarter and personal.

Or hell, run it when the first user requests it and then cache the response for everyone else. That way you don’t need to make unnecessary calls for articles with low views. Making a call for every user is so fucking odd.

USPS slander will NOT be tolerated. These are a major improvement for the safety of both pedestrians and the drivers. They have a ton of comforts added too.

If you’re in the bay, the Computer History Museum has an Apple at 50 exhibit right now that has a ton of rare Apple hardware on display including a smoke test Mac Classic that’s clear. The museum in general is fantastic but this exhibit adds some great items to learn about.
